I would like the phial length outside of alchemy to go back to one hour. The system as it is now, is punishing you (by having to invest AT LOT more mats) for not choosing alchemy. The difference between 30 mins for a non-alchemist and the 2hrs for an alchemist is too large and feels really bad.
I would like treasure finding achievements NOT be tied to random rng (looting maps that have a low drop chance out of boxes throughout the continent).
Im interested to know what you would like to change/you want them to keep for the new expac.
How hard is it to remove yourself from combat if you’ve not been hit for 20+ seconds?? Instead we get a critter somewhere a mile away keep us in combat…
Also, sort out Void Tendrils for SPs keeping us in combat still after the target died… died so many times in wPvP because of it.
Goblins able to play every class. A lot would say every race for every class and that’s fine too. I just only care about Goblins. You could even lock it behind a quest chain, like for the allied race but this time, we have to learn the ways of that class. How cool would that be? And if we’re going to war with the Titans, then we need everything at our disposal!
Revert to the old profession system. The new one is so long winded and complex. Also, if you fall behind, you’ve basically lost. I came back in Dec last year and basically haven’t touched them. Definitely remove the different quality of reagents, I know it makes sense if you compare it to the real world but there is just so much stuff, instead of 5 ores you now get 25, it’s crazy. You have higher quality reagents selling for less than lower quality ones, which shows the system is broke or just doesn’t work. You can still have crafting impact the quality of the item by using the optional reagents.
Improve the crafting order system. Link it directly to the AH so that you don’t have to write down what you need and then run over to the AH. Have it so that when you click an item, you can see a list of people who have stated they will create it and the tip they require or, enable feedback whereby a crafter can send a message saying they’ll craft the order for X amount of gold.
The story telling to be less cringe. I think only a minority will be happy with the story of Dragonflight, I’ll not go into the end cinematics for the Fyrakk fight, but we know the issue.
Something similar to Legion Class hall. I still go there now even though it has no relevance to Dragonflight or my characters power. I just love the concept of it.
Targeted slot choices in the vault (or equivalent, whatever they choose to name it). You could raid and get no items all week. You can do dungeons and get no loot multiple runs, the vault is your chance to get a guaranteed item. Make it so that at least you can target a slot, there are still enough items in each slot for the RNG gods to make your life hell. Respect players time, as Blizzard keep saying.
Do not add more abilities to Dragon Riding to make us farm stuff for that. It was implemented, it is almost universally welcomed, don’t ruin it or make it a chore.
Improve Chromie time so that you can actually level through the expansion of your choice the entire way. Leveling is so fast now that you’re basically done in the first zone and then get whisked away or just get 25xp per quest if you choose to stay. This doesn’t help people re-live that expansion and learn about the history of the story. Even build to a point where in Chromie time, you can have follower dungeons and raids, so that you can really live that entire expansion.
Improve item drops when leveling. it is so fast now that by the time you hit later content, some of your items can be from when you were level 20 or lower.
If they moved the world forward after the Cataclysm and show how everyone rebuilt, then that would be brilliant!
The old world was great for its world building. We could go back to that!
My biggest desire is actually to have a series of meta achievements for leveling specific classes through the old zones. You’d talk to an NPC on a fresh character that’d apply certain restrictions so you’d have to progress almost everything.
There could be an achievement for doing this in Cataclysm Chromie Time as well. All would give some lucrative cosmetic rewards that would make the long haul worth it.

Yes, it’s still a Bonus over an non-alchemist, but lets get real, there was never an Expansion where Flasks were so dirty cheap like this one.
And giving the current Dungeons, 30 min Flasks are often enough, i even waste almost all of the Alchemy-Bonus time when doing a single Weekly Key.
Reduce bag clutter. Inventory Management is not fun and should not be a feature.
Tell a coherent story, don’t chop it up into 6 Campaigns and then put rep gates on bits of it. Have side quests by all means but make the main story cohesive.
Introduce a way to level alts a bit faster. Legion had those Invasions that gave us a little over 1 level. Something like this added in x.1 would be great.
Sort out the Class Orders. I don’t want to be head Shaman anymore (if I still am?).
Add some AI members to LFR to speed up queue times (1 tank, 2 healers, 4 DPS).
