You are farming for one of the lowest drop rate mounts in the game. You need to realise there are barely any ppl with these mounts, let alone who got it recently under the circumstances you mentioned. The mount drops, it’s just an extremely low drop rate and nothing will change that.
Personally the world boss mounts are the last ones I will farm in the game, maybe even go for gold cap and BMAH instead of actually farming them themselves. It’s just not worth it…

Got Ashes on my first try- still waiting on Invincible and the similar one from Legion Kara, although I’ve given up actively looking for mounts now, it’s just a nice bonus if they drop
That doesn’t count at all Alagondar. Once you enter an instance or RAID, your WM ON is disabled while inside.
There are people with much higher kill counts, rare drops are rare. Sha drop in particular is the hardest to get in the game.

Indeed, and I’m absolutely not complaining about the number of kills reached. I’m simply making sure that the loot list wasn’t altered when Blizzard introduced WM ON. All I want is reasssuring comments confirming that it’s working as intended and not bugged ^^

Few people interested because those mounts are rare and there is not much else to add to your topic, you got your answer already, WM On don’t impact mount drop.
There are people with like 7k Sha kills and no drop.
You don’t need a Dev confirmation, people told you already they got those mounts with WM on.
All that makes sense. But sadly it’s not enough for me…
