Outfits as Cosmetic rewards

So I’ve been thinking about transmog as I often do and I thought why doesn’t Blizzard create an outfit system for rewards?

Instead of gaining a headpiece or shoulders to transmog with your gear, you could earn outfits that are applied on your character. This could work like a toy that just is toggled on or off from your transmog window like other games have it.

I remember someone from Blizzard saying the art team get jittery when they see clipping and that’s why some pieces are so limited in their 3D assets, but this way you could create something that goes together head to toe and made to not clip.

Even for RP purposes this could be great. Imagine having a proper tuxedo with a coat. Or robes that are actually robe like instead of just a nightgown. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Just an idea for Blizzard but I wonder what others would think, these could be such epic rewards from achieves and in game events from Pet battling to being present in certain events, like a 4th war regalia from surviving the ordeal, a military inspired outfit that tells of our honour and victory.

What do you think guys?

While I’m not completly opposed to this, I usually prefer seperate pieces that allow you to mix and match. A whole outfit item would be very limiting and everyone with the same outfit would look the same.

It could open some cool opportunities for outfits where multiple equipslots are combined, e.g. a helmet that’s directly connected to the shoulders (no clue how you would do cool stuff with this, I’m not that creative).

this, and i am not a fan of anything character-specific. if it was account wide, fine. but dont make me grind everything on each of my characters.

and honestly? screw pet battling. hate that with a passion.

All I want is a real dress, like a really pretty one. Imagine a princess ball gown /dream. Yes, I need to grow up, I know, I know…

Get in line. Trench coats and quivers first :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes! I can’t understand how BElf females have necklaces and bracelets but hunters don’t have quivers…

Looks like the closest thing to a trench coat for us at the moment is the leather Castle Nathria set. Hoping Blizzard does us a solid and has that model available for other armour types down the line. :sob:
