Outlaw Rogue Advice

I’m an ilvl 385 Outlaw Rogue, I have Waking Stats, Versatility, Avoidance and Frosted Armor Stats for enchantments.

The build revolves around Blade Furry and the talent Dancing Steel. I don’t have any logs to show but experienced Rogues know what I’m talking about.

I’m trying to get to 7 combo points first then I’m getting the double attack speed whilst simultaneously hitting blade furry with Blade Rush. Then I’m spamming RTB’s, SS and BTE’s, proccing Adrenaline Rush with Shadow Dance etc.

Surely single target damage is not more than proccing 5+ mobs at once with BF?

Would really appreciate some build advice here as most other players are literally doing double DPS in Mythics.

Have a good one!

Playing outlaw is about smashing buttons, all the time.

I use this build. I chose to not go with Shadow Dance because I simply don’t want one more button to watch. I may add it later, but for now, I haven’t really seen any use for it.

The main goal is to keep all your upkeeps going:

  • Between the Eyes always on your main target
  • Slice and Dice always active
  • Roll the Bones, 2 of any buffs you keep, or if you have Broadside, True Bearing or Skull and Crossbones as singles, you keep those (there’s weakauras to help with this).
  • Blade Flurry always active on 2 or more targets

Once you have the upkeep going you use Adrenaline Rush on cooldown (don’t wait to line up CDs). Any other CD you have (Sepsis, Ghostly Strike, Dreadblades, etc) you use on CD.

Keep track on your combo points so you don’t over-cap, and use your Pistol Shot procs at 2 or less combo points.

The main struggle is to remember to keep Blade Flurry active and use cooldowns as soon as they’re available (they come back so fast some times!).

You are missing two skill points still.

Updated it now. Just forgot to add the last two
