Outlaw Rogue Bug is Corrected and Actions Underway

As of a few hours ago today (October 24), we corrected a bug that allowed Outlaw Rogues to contrive conditions in which they could do very high damage.

We are now working on removing clearly exploited runs from leaderboards and taking account actions where appropriate.

Thank you to all who reported this.

Appreciate the fix and the update on here. If you could look into why the spec felt fun to play with the cooldown reduction it provided (ignoring the damage it provided) and think on that going forward it would be good. It really reminded me of legion 7.0, fluid and fun to play. Havent had that much fun in a while.

Also other fixes when? Lol

Account actions due to a bug that’s your own fault? lol

It was not accidental.

What wasn’t? Blizzard’s lack of QA?

It requires very specific steps to trigger, and thus doesn’t really happen by accident. I’m glad they are taking actions against abusers.

Blizzard stated that if something is in a grey zone you are risking to get punished. If people assume they won’t get any sort of punishment after intentionally triggering a bug then thats on them and you had to intentionally trigger the bug.

how about fixing the hero talents finally? maybe the extended cloak? you guys take way to long lmaoooooo

did you by chance also break sub rogue damage?

Guys, you fixed the outlaw damage, but the sub doesn’t have any damage now. The evisceration before the fix hits 1+ million, and now less than a million with a crit and modifiers + supercharges. The damage is comparable to the old one before the rework
Sub is completely broken
Watch any sub player stream, anyone is crying about this

I think supercharged cp doesn’t work or works incorrect

Nice, create a bug then punish normal people for using what they probably thought were normal class mechanics. good work blizzard. the state of you these days…

Absolute BS. You had to hard force the bug. People just assumed they would get away with it like they assume every time and then they whine if they actually get punished. Anyone getting banned while having used the bug deserves it, period.

could you ban this rogue finally? NĂŤssa-Area52 this one still has their rating lol.

I would edit your post, pretty sure directly calling someone out is against forum tos especially when they arent in the thread

i dont care

reverting NĂŤssa-Area52 16s but not the 14th that are clearly cheesed too? ffs blizzard?

fix sub damage

how about removing the keys from the bug users already? and banning them?

edit october 30th : still no bans for them and the keys have not been removed

Dear Kaivax.

When will you guys acknowledge the stealth bug, and address the bugs with Deathstalker’s Mark. The forums have been flooded with posts about these issues for months now, and yet not a single syllable of acknowledgement has been given from the developers.

Yet, somehow, the Outlaw spec gets instant attention and gets dealt with at once. Just say something. ANYTHING regarding stealth, and Deathstalker’s Mark being bugged as hell. Literally anything. I beg you, show the community that you give two sh*ts about them.

While I hope they do fix the stealth and other bugs that riddle the class they dont prioritise outlaw at all. Grappling hook has been buggy since mid legion, BTE still goes on cd if you restealth during the subterfuge buff window and fire a bte from stealth, theres instances of coup de grace dealing 0 dmg, AR being used from stealth with a target (or close enemy with auto target) still breaks you out, fatebound coin flips still break you out of stealth. I could probably go on but you get my point.

The priority wasnt for outlaws sake, it was adressing a game changing bug that effected everyone that had an outlaw rogue in their group.
