Outlaw Rogues ..i need help ..i feel weak and very squishy

Hello.

I’m playing a trickster outlaw rogue. It’s actually my first time playing a rogue so i’m not very proficient with it, hence why i use the single button assist feature for attacks while i focus on moving out of things and defenives. (Yes i am a casual player).

But for some reason, outlaw rogues feel very very squishy and their damage also feels weak.
I can only compare it a fury warrior or a demon hunter.

I like the rogue class, i like the idea of pickpocketing  , so i would not want to quit playing it.
So i am here asking for help, maybe i am doing something wrong….maybe the other specs hit much harder and are much more defensively appt. I mean with the warrior or DH i could just stand in front of countless mobs not pressing any defensive abilities…but with the rogue i can’t do that at all. And once i enter “hardcore” things are even worse…

It feels demoralizing..

My ilvl is 605, weapon level 3.
I know its low, but i can’t get into raids, everybody wants only max ilvl geared people. Same goes for M+, they all want vers 200+. ..so i am stuck doing quests and wq to get my ilvl up..but its a drag and its demoralizing.

When i played in Lemix, my fury was very squishy too until i get better ilvl and didn’t have any gear at like 300-400 because of the stamina increase.
Are you in Heroic tier by any chance?

Just gotta keep signing up to every group you want. Some will decline but eventually, you’ll get accepted. Maybe not Antorus but definitely the rest. Just avoid the groups who require highest ilvl. Got into groups pretty easily on every fresh level 80 i have.

I have found next to all classes feel squishy or weak at 80. It’s the lack of gear. Whilst people are being a bit stringent on who they will take to mythic, I have found normal and heroic a lot easier to get into.

Don’t play in HC mode and look for the “all welcome” raids but apply to all of them anyway. I have been surprised sometimes at who will accept me. If you feel brave enough, you can always make your own raid. They fill up quickly, just make sure to take a few 740s.

outlaws a bit squishy in heroic untill you get some vers and item level. but in normal can speed through world questing easy. so lots gear chests to get item level (just conbine 10 per item) luckily one button is actualy pretty damn good on outlaw

Just keep playing and questing to get the crystalts to convert to gear. Sign up for hundreds of raids just to increase ilvl. I only saw a real increase in power after ilvl 700. Work your Infinite Knowledge up to 36 so you get maximum IP from sources. You get IK from achievments its a 25% increase from base at max lvl.

  1. Don’t use single button. Its garbo, worthless, like free dps loss. It makes your brain completly degenerate. Even If you ignore playing around Crackshot and Ghost Strike, you will do more damage.

  2. Gear up to 740ilvl, get around 200% versa

  • just run daily raids, most of the ppl just take you cuz bosses die within few seconds.
  1. Get some leech on your items

  2. Learn basic rotation. Just practice - one button is not even for casuals, its for bots and npcs.

I always write everyone welcome.
