Hello all,
I want to level a rogue. I really like m+ so need outlaw for that. I also like to do some battlegrounnds and wpvp, so thats sub.
Can I use the same gear for both and just change legendary & weapons?
Hope someone knows this stuff.

Don’t play rogue. Worst class in the game right now. Play druid, mage, warlock,hunter,paladin or nothing. Im sorry this is real. I play rogue you can make my logs if you want. i leave this game today because i dont want to play another class other then rogue.

Blizzard made raiding mandatory again. Which could be a good thing if you didnt have to bench every progress since you bring next to zero raid utility. The only good thing is cloak of shadows for Hungering Destroyer but still we can get replaced by retri paladin who does basicly the same with the buble except they got raid utility and bigger dps overall.
In m+ scenarios rogues bring much more utility such as hard CC, cloak soaking, shroud, damage amplifier via stun talent etc. However, as a true dps class with only dps speces we are outperformed once again in overall throughput by hybrid classes like paladins, druids, monks even with legendary parses in comparison with their 85ish% parses which can get pretty demotivating.
In pvp we lost all the damage except troll burst builds which are predictable, counterable easily and nearly everyone interested in pvp knows how to counter then even if the oneshot is simply two GCDs. After this burst you are left without offensive nor defensive cooldowns for next minute +.
Overall rogues sux now
To answer the question tho. Sub and Outlaw have different stat priorities depending on legendaries, ilvl and content.
Because rogues haven’t no raid buff, no raid defansives, no good damage, no good burst etc. I was playing m+ and raid. Other classes hitting twice overall. Example for m+ overall : hunter hitting 7k dps mage hitting 7.2k dps druid hitting 7.1k dps, tank hitting 3 - 3.5k dps, mr rogues hitting 4 - 4.5k dps. Also new m+ afflixes(spriteful,storming) not good for melee. Rogues still worst class in the world of warcraft. Do you watch world first raids? No rogues any fights… If you are a rogue you don’t take Cutting Edge archives. If you want this archives you must buy boost. So don’t play rogue if you want play rogue leave this game.
4K dps is almost auto attack,people must be really bad
