Can someone explain me how this brez item works in mythic + ?
I’m not eng myself so i can’t have the other tinker on another piece of stuff to guarentee the brez so what are the chances that the brez works ? Can it kill me if it fails ?
Not directly, but the backfire effect can certainly lead to your death.
I don’t know what the chances are. I think non-engineers use this when there’s no other combat rez available and failure can’t make things worse. If you don’t CR, you wipe. If it fails, you still wipe.
With rank 3 tinker vital correctors you have a high chance of it to work. You should craft it with a Critical Failure Prevention Unit in order to never catastrophically malfunction.
I think it has around 60% chance to work. With the second tinker you mention you would have 100% but would give up your dps pot cd. As an engineer you can have close to 99% chance to work with knowledge points talents.

I’ve used engi bracers with brez on 4 characters in S1 of DF and they work more often than not, plus they don’t count as an embellishment but let’s be honest any “real” CR will be better so the bracers are only there as a panic button.
I got the 2 chars i play keys with engi with all traits because i play mythic plus and i don’t recall the last time they failed 
My main is also maxed in engi with the cogwheel to reduce the chance of failing but it still fails fairly often from my experience.
Blizz straight up said that if you have all the anti-fail profession talents and a Q3 tinker, you have the maximum success chance. Which, in the case of some tinkers, is clearly not 100%. 
Nah it usually stuns you when it fails catastrophically, or just does nothing. You can make sure it can’t catastrophically fail though if you make it right during crafting.
It usually works. The only thing you have to watch out for is that it’s melee range, and that makes using it a little tricky sometimes. You have to keep your rotation in mind, keep boss timers in mind, and then find the corpse, run over there at an opportune moment, and do a cast. You can’t just press your rez button with no further considerations.
Not sure about this. As an engineer, I am immune to catastrophic failures, but I’ve still had a malfunctioning tinker polymorph me. Which isn’t fundamentally different from stunning me (in fact worse - a stun I could break with my racial).
A friend has engineering and most of the time it does work when he tries to ress me in the open world.
