Any other copers hoping they release ToC on 14th (atleast) or 21st? Even if ToC is a fast clear I bet many of us wanna do HC++ tours to finish our sets

Then again, if you want pay to win mechanics, being treated as a source of income rather than a gamer deserving of a fun game, then maybe youd care.
D4 does not apears to be so focused around ptw like diablo immortal was.

Ye this is the problem. With 6 chars Ill have a ton of hc++ tours to run even if toc is a fast raid

I agree they could give at least 2 weeks between them to keep “blizzard hype” somehow living, but still it’s minor thing.
D4 is going to be massively popular, in the “Blizzard” sphere of gaming it is all anyone is talking about. D4 is going to completely cannibalise the T9 launch if they launch at the same time.

Lets be real though, toc is gonna be around for months, you dont have to raid toc from the start.
You can play d4 for a few weeks, then go back to wow. Its not the end of the world.
Sure, but typically what a lot of players will do is stop playing WoW to play D4 and then because they missed the launch window, they kinda don’t feel like going back to WoW and then go on a long break.
Everyone has done this, I have done it so many times over the years. You can’t be bothered to pick up where you left off because your mind is now in a new space. This isn’t just something made up either, it’s human psychology, you learn this in any marketing course, and it’s why it’s best to try to align releases so that you can hook people in.
You’re not going to hook people in by releasing T9 at the same time as D4, T9 will get overlooked for a lot of players and just left behind. I will personally try to juggle the two, but I’m more than averagely invested in Wotlk.

No JJ buff yet makes me trend towards 14th June (early access d4 would have 12 days to play thats okayish), would like 21st but doubt that will happen
Nobody has said that that one will be returning and the timeline of previous patches says it won’t unless it’s a 2-3 week JJ buff instead of 4 weeks like the last 2 times.
If you want into pug groups semi consistently you have 2-3 weeks after p3 release to get decent parses and xp in, after that people will start filtering hard for people with kills on record.
Yeah, that will prob happen. I just dont understand why some people desperately NEED to be there for the launch. If you are somewhat up-to-date on gear now, you can even take a break to ICC, and still be relevant enough for it.
Its not the end of the world if you take a break. Go play another game if you want to.
By the time you have D4 on farm( or whatever the goal is in D4), you can juggle between them. Nobody is gonna notice.
Maybe the tryhards will for heroics, but eventually it will water itself out i reckon.
I see mostly gdkps anyway on my server, so maybe it will pan out differently on the less populated servers.
Once people realize its easier than ulduar, (hopefully) it will “only” be a gs requirement.
