I play Void Elf on my main and main-alt. However, all one-handed weapons are grossly oversized on these characters and a small hammer/mace looks like an inflated hot-air balloon and just plainly looks rediculous.
It would be nice if one-handers were scaled down to a more proper size.
Yes, I know. I used to main a BE paladin and warrior (for the racials - extra interrupt is awesome) but 2-handers look okay actually - but when playing as holy I hated the paladin so actually had to stop playing that
I love BIG weapons on my paladin. I hated having to wield a toothpick.
So I think they should add choice. The easiest thing would be a glyph as they cover most cosmetics. Those who wanted smaller weapons could apply it and then both sides would be happy.
You should see how huge weapons on goblins are. They actually grow larger when you unsheath them and then shrink back down to normal size when you put them back. It’s bizarre. It’s probably made that way because goblins have such huge hands, but I still don’t like it.
It’s not just one hand weapons. All weapons in general are grossly over sized on Blood elves and Void elves now. It’s one of the main reasons why I don’t play elves anymore and they actually used to be my favourite race before Blizzard made this horrible change to them.
I remember the day, it was in legion when I spent much time on my Bloodelf Warlock, I hated it, she is Nightborn now for a reason, a good number of people did too, and we had a nice forum debate about it, posting the most ridiculous oversized weapons (My Demonology Artifact Dagger had the size of almost a Two-Hander)
Those oversized weapons shy me away from playing any Blood- or Voidelf to this day, especially when they use staffs!
Yes, Belfemale weapons where too puny before, but the change just pushed the pendulum to the other extreme.
Now we have those anorexic-elves you barely see any gear on carrying weapons that have the size of small trees. Can’t look at it.
IMO Female Draenei have the perfect weapon size, not too small, not too big, absolutely perfect ~
