Hey there everyone,
am I the only one thinking, that P2 is more boring then P1? In my opinion they gotta change a lot so the days between raids are not that boring like it is right now.
At the moment my only Log-in reasons are Raid reset, making Gold for P3 and thats it.
And that I also felt 1 week after P2 release. There was nothing to grind for instead of Epic Crafts & Loot of STV.
Big problems?:
- almost 0 reason to farm better gear to go into Gnomeregan cause you can legit clear it with full BFD Gear and most of it still is BiS, its not like its 1-2 Items, more like 3-4 items which you still want to use cause better stat-wise (ah and if you WANT old items to be used atleast make em able to obtain by not paying 75g just so you can play another spec, lmao. Most stupid Gold-sink ever.)
- STV Gear farm was cool to have as one of the first persons on realm, I think I was first on Crusader Strike - EU with both Mounts + Epic Gear & almost exalted with AB but it was definitely way too easy, we managed to hit 26 Silver Coins in 1 Event as record and since you can hit Exalted with STV you don’t even wanna grind ABs at all
I think there HAS to come more stuff for future phases to grind for instead of just raid logging and here is some examples how to fix it:
- add some PvP Sets to actually grind PvP for
- add Emblems to farm for better Gear then old Raid Gear but still worse then current Raidtier Gear
- add a better version of Ashenvale so atleast you don’t lose the Community “FUN” Aspect of World PvP (after my recent post, I heard that most of the people enjoyed Raid-wide World PvP more then 5-Man WPVP), even after hitting Exalted on my Druid in WSG I still hosted these Events for Fun and to help out other people (also had a Discord Server for it with around 2.5k Alliance Players on Crusader Strike - EU)
- Add some side-raids to not only log-in for one raid
- Make Twinking more easy in the future, like why not add 100% XP buff way earlier?
- Add Arenas to SoD so you can atleast do some chill 2/3-Man PvP and farm some rating with your friends for people that not ONLY want to sit in the auctionhouse and grind gold whilest waiting for P3
I think there is a lot of potential in SoD which is just dying out with losing players from week to week. Earlier or later this will end like “classic era”, cause its just the normal boring classic stuff as always. Atleast try to add some stuff for people that came from retail and to hold them.
PS: people won’t cry to see some things like “HC-Mode” or whatever else to make the game who want a challenge, more challenging. I see you want the “Classic-Aspect” to stay alive but SoD legit could be the only way to safe WoW right now, it won’t work with only EASY-Modes only imo. Maybe I’m wrong but yeah!
