As far as I understand, I need like 400k gold to enchant all gear, and then I need to craft 2 pvp conquest items (I guess it will cost a lot as well), to not be behind the people who just buy/sell two tokens.
Is it normal, to spend at least half million gold, just to not get behind that much in pvp?

You do not need to enchant honor gear since you will replace it
also note for enchant we are in pre season, there’s extremely rare epic items available, so once season start with M+ raid etc the price of “epic enchant” will go lower.
It is also the start of the season, where stock are low, it is a good opportunity to make gold.

Else farm gold between queues, it work good to get gold and occupie while waiting

Where are you getting these prices from? i enchanted all my stuff including the 2 BiS enchants and paid like 60k in total. You can go even cheaper and not buy rank 3 everywhere since it’s just honor gear that you’re gonna replace with conquest gear.
Realistically, you don’t even need enchants to perform well at the game. If you ignore speed enchants, they literally just change about 0.5 - 1 % of damage if stacked.

Last time I’ve checked enchant prices some of the enchants were very expensive, even the lower quality ones. Hopefully they get cheaper in a few days.
As far as I understand, You can get like 2 conquest items first week + 2 crafted conquest items, rest should be world pvp blood token gear.
Based on my experience (early access people running full crafted pvp gear for 2-300k gold) , many people will just spend all the gold on these, and get ahead of the others.

, but in reality You will face these people day one in arena.

The honor gear is way better and farmed very fast, they are just wasting their gold.
It’s really no big deal at all. Get your conq and world pvp items, slap expensive enchants only on these (or rank 2) and you will be without any disadvantage

The key being “it procs”, check the uptime. You’re a warrior, you don’t kill in setups anyway, if you were a rogue, it could be used as a valid argument. It’s not a reliable way of boosting damage, it’s a random stat stick.
It’s 5% of my dmg with a low amount of procs, sometimes i’m lucky and it rises to around 10%. Also depends on if i get to cleave or not but in the skirmishes i’ve queued the last few days it averaged on about 6%. That is without the main stat it also provides. Sure some games are short/long but it is a significant dmg increase. Having that enchant on both weapons does increase the dmg at least as much as the random proc offensive trinket
Having the BiS weapon enchant day one when we don’t even have the weapon to enchant it with is not, and will never be, what prevents anybody from getting 1800 rating or whatever eventually in a season.

you can throw 100k into your warband bank, make a lvl 1 on a high pop realm and go buy it there for 1/4th the price
AH is region wide and has been for a while.
for reagents and stuff. you could also mail gold cross realm, but its only with the warbank you can transfer items like enchants, weapons, patterns, toys, mounts and so on cross realm. now you can mail a lvl 1 gold and use it to buy things like patterns or BoE epics and then throw them into the warbank and send them back to your main on another realm.

No need to slither around the first message and begin a debate over the armor that you could buy and resell while losing a % of gold in transfer to make some small benefit and whatnot so you can maybe gain 2k gold since everyone has already tried that the second Warbanks started working, because that’s besides the point. The enchant won’t be bought cheaper elsewhere, that’s all.
In clearer terms it means no you were wrong, it doesn’t work with enchants.

Everytime anyone answers anything wrong you post on these forums it’s always some “no but let me twist my words and keep talking”. Sometimes, you’re wrong, it’s not the end of the world and no one resents you for it. Just don’t answer or say yes, and speak of something else when it is the case instead of always trying to argue around the first - and incorrect - statement.
