As we all know, “Packaged Soul Ash” aka “almost account wide soul ash” is coming with 9.1
Do you mind giving us that feature a bit earlier?
We do know it’s rough pumping out this flawless masterpiece of a game, but given the fact that 9.1 is still a few weeks at least and a few months realistically away from us, can we get this feature a bit earlier?
Most mains that are progressing have their desperately needed 235 legendaries already, probably for at least one offspec as well, and are still sitting on 10k+ soul ash.
If you’re afraid of “alts farming soul ash for mains” which should be a non issue at this point in the current tier, just make it gated behind being exalted with Venari up until 9.1 and we’re golden.
I’d really like to be able to craft a shadow legendary on my priest, or a pvp one, but since he’s only 4 weeks old, he’s sadly sitting on only 500 soul ash.
I don’t mind giving the brokers their rightful cut, I’d just really like to be able to craft more than one max lvl legendary every 4-5 weeks.
Thanks for reading this Ion, as I know you always do. And good luck with your Sire progress, I’m sure you’ll kill him this week!
There will be tbc release soon, so its unlikely to get any content on retail within the next few months imo. They need bored ppl to buy their ridiculously overpriced tbc pass first. Then they add content to the main game.
Look at it like this: They still have 3 Heroic bosses to test as well as 9 Mythic bosses (given the final boss is not part of the PTR). So the next raid testing for a week will probably be the last remaining HC bosses. And then mythic starts with aprox 2 to 3 bosses. Maybe if they wanna speed it up they will test all 3 bosses and 2 mythic bosses in one weekly cycle.
And then they have to do their tuning as bosses on PTR are usually overtuned as Blizzard doesnt want you to kill the bosses. So July for 9.1 sounds about right. Mayhaps end of June.
I’ve crafted the legendary that makes my ToD have only 1 minute cooldown, specifically for Torghast.
Now, every week, at least one person from my guild ask me whether I wanna run Torghast with them or not, with one of their alts, because it usually ends up with me running straight to the floorboss and using touch of death, or alternatively using touch of death on anything on the way.
It’s not that I like doing Torghast, but I’m really bad at saying “No”.
July is one and a half month away from now. If it’s 11th July, it’d be two months.
Mid to end of July seems like a reasonable guesstimate for 9.1 release.
Possible but I don’t really see it happening, unless Ion forgets (again) that some people play both retail and classic servers, because releasing TBC at the same time as a new raid gets released is kind of a rude thing to do.
On one hand I hope 9.1 comes quickly, on the other hand, I’d really like at least a few weeks of spending time in either retail or TBC, without having to grind in the other, except for daily stuff.
well if TBC comes in june some peoples are so hypend they buy TBC Delux getting 1 month free then next month June comes 9.1.0 so they have continue subing they still can add a store mount in june make peoples to buy 6 month subs
Well we’ll see, I’d still like having the packaged soul ash available as early as possible, given the fact that it takes roughly 4 weeks to craft a single max itemlevel legendary.
Wow…someone in that team still thinks that the war resources f***ed up swap from BFA was a great idea. God forbid they end up letting people play the game.
