Packet Loss to Blizzard EU Servers–Suspected RETN issue

Hello,
I am experiencing persistent packet loss and latency issues when connecting to your EU servers (Battle.net and game services). I have conducted multiple tests using WinMTR, which consistently show high packet loss at the RETN transit nodes, particularly:

ae3 -4. rt. eqx . fkt .de .r etn . net – ~45% packet loss

The issue begins only when traffic is routed through RETN (AS9002), which is the upstream provider used by my ISP (Vectra Polska). The connection to your servers becomes unstable, causing severe lag and disconnections.

Could you please confirm if this part of the route is outside of Blizzard’s infrastructure and clarify whether the problem lies within the RETN transit or my ISP’s routing policies?

I would greatly appreciate an official response confirming whether this is beyond Blizzard’s control, so I can escalate this further with my ISP.

Im also getting constantly disconnected on Silvermoon server, at times i cannot play for longer than 5min because game freezes and then DC.

Also playing from Poland

I am getting very poor server performance today and agree there is an issue, but your test does not show any issues.

As is usual when non-network engineers get a traceroute this is completely misinterpreted.

The “packet loss” is a node in the middle at retn not responding constantly to ping. All the pings to the destination get there. This is common for some nodes to police traffic to reduce CPU utilisation.

This is like claiming your mail company lost your mail while it is all sitting there on your desk.

Genuine packet loss looks like this.

This is NOT packet loss

I can’t play at all. When i get disconnected Im stuck at “logging in to a game server” and then DC again…

Yeah, still the same issue. It started this morning, and now the disconnects seem to be getting worse.

I tried disabling addons but that didn’t really work, plus I wasnt even able to login to my realm so addons cannot be at fault here.

Can we get any official answer?
Cause when my isp route was switched for few hours from retn to level3 all problems dissapear
