Paid faction change in SOD

Is there any talk about maybe opening up a paid faction change in SOD, most my friends picked one faction then most quit now i want to change my allegiance.

Any idea if this will be come a option ?

Their agenda for SoD to ensure faction balance as much as they can. Faction change literally goes against that so it’s a no. Just reroll, leveling is faster then ever.

It won’t happen as long as shamans and paladins are faction locked

It’s a good idea. All alliance could be change to horde faction OP with racial and shaman OP so. We can enjoy SOD without harassment of orc racial, undead racial and shaman OP

No chance this will happen whilst they make levelling even easier.

Yeah it’s easy to level but walking around getting runes is the worst!! Maybe if you got that rune before and create the same class, you should get the rune at the correct level automatically

I’d easily pay some money just to have all runes unlocked instantly.

Not having them just makes the game worse.

100%.

runes from prior phases should be available in a vendor.

phase 1 runes: 5g each, lvl 25 required to purchase.

phase 2 runes: 10-15g each, lvl 40 required to purchase.

once phase 4 launches, phase 3 runes should get the same treatment.
something like lvl 50 required and 25g per rune.

leave the quests in the game for those who want to save some money and get them manually.

now we got a decent gold sink on top of being able to play our alts the way they are intended to be played.

i wouldn’t have hesitated to pay even 50g for the eye of the void rune since that is the most atrocious excuse for a quest i have possibly ever done in my life… if you know, you know.

as it is right now, only 1 of my characters (my main) have 26/26 runes, because he is the only character i bothered to farm incursion rep with, for completionist reasons.
all my alts have 25/26 because i refuse to do incursions any more than i have to.

so this priest right here is missing his void zone, which is a pretty big deal since that means i am unable to do AOE damage… luckily i prefer healing as a priest, because in my opinion that is what the class was made for… dpsing is cute, but i’d roll literally any other class to do that job for a variety of reasons.

I would want it all from level 1 tho.

Would make me level a bunch of alts, if you could be melee hunter from level 1 or just having warrior runes to make them more enjoyable lvling

i wouldn’t mind that tbh. i just figured it would be better to put some arbitrary limits on it so as to not squash all content prior to current content.

it would also be a bit of a shame to basically tell all new players not to go out of their way to do any rune quests as they are leveling because a few of them are genuinely fun (my favorite is the one with the heroic knightly gnome).

i mean, the game is easy enough as it is, and reaching something as trivial as a level requirement in order to purchase something is hardly an issue, but its whatever to me, personally.

Runes that use forced grouping are hell for new players now tho.

Like frozen murloc, The zones just don’t have enough new players to supply the demand.

yeah that’s part of the reason they should just put them in a vendor.

i suspect the only reason they haven’t done it yet, is because they’re desperate to pad gametime for the playerbase.
its busywork to keep us on the hamsterwheel, nothing more.

This is a really good idea, I second it. Not sure why they don’t do it already. Newcommers will still want to do the quest to save up money and/or for the jorney/experience and alts can just ignore them since they’ve done it already. Runes, unlike gear/wbuffs/consumes, are not optional. You need runes to perform in SoD.
