Paladin is awesome!

hush, dont expose on forums that you are having fun with paladin, it will be nerfed if enough people do so

Hey! Also Zandalari Prelate reporting in!

I feel more confident playing this class in pre-patch atm, the only problem is the mobility.
I also advice to use Polearms on Zandalari they have super awesome polearm stance.

And if you want to stick to swords then Dawnbreaker is a must!

Ive got about 4 paladins right now as well from all at different levels. 3 of them are Taurens because I love the idea of Sunwalkers.

Try out Protection too. I love playing my Prot pally.

Sunwalkers are interesting too, but 2 would be enough for me xD

But gnome warriors are better…

Right ?..

Right?!

Paladins truly are amazing. Glad that you’ve seen the Light Pøgchãmp!

different classes for different people.

Which is one of the positives of WOW, often undervalued.

Enjoy your time dude. That’s the goal while playing.

Don’t doubt yourself. Gnomes are unironically nice. And warriors are great too.

And you are the same as him for doing the same imo :), its lame of both of you…

Much better!!

Although I am simply sick of my sword being too big and hiding my face in my avatar LOL

I haven’t looked much into the lore yet but do Zandalari paladins worship the light or the loa? Or do the different races simply have different names for things?

That doesn’t matter much really

I will check this out!

:cold_sweat:

Will do!

So?

Supposedly they used to draw their holy power from Rezan, the Loa of Kings. Only Rezan isn’t doing so well these days.

"We are broken.

The light of Rezan has left us. Only a handful of those that followed the great king of the loa still have any sort of power, and even they are suspect.

Our life was devotion itself. Now who do we become?" - High Prelate Rata

So right now, we don’t have a straight answer to where the remaining Zandalari paladins (called Prelates) draw their power from. Whether it’s the Light as with most other paladins, or if Rezan’s presence lingers despite him being dead, is something we simply don’t know yet. Feel free to speculate!

Loa, altho Rezan was their prelate, after his demise other Prelates while still following his teachings went to assist other Loas.

I just wait for Rezan junior to appear so we have Holy T-Rex patron again. Not cool what Blizzard did to him.

Is he in ardenweald? I hope so… poor Rezan

dont realy think haveing mana on a tank is the best idea …

I don’t get your point sorry

The only thing I hate about it is the freaking crusader strike animation… That spin … In hate it so much…

Keeping editing your post won’t make me understand it anymore

I’m the same as who? And what and why is it lame?

Pretty much all a Paladin is, is a Holy Warrior, so it depends on what they find religiously important.
For Humans, Dwarves and Blood Elves, their Paladins derive power from The Light, Blood Knights used to just -take- it from a trapped Naaru, but now their reverence is more in line with ‘traditional’ paladins.
Draenei Vindicators also get their power from the Light, but the Draenei relationship with The Light is more complex and different from the natives of Azeroth, due to the Naaru connection.

Tauren Sunwalkers derive power from An’she, who is the Tauren Sun God. The religious side goes that the Earthmother had two children, who were embodied in her mind, An’she and Mu’sha, the Sun and the Moon. An’she and Mu’sha loved each other so fiercely, but could never meet or touch (Because well, your eyes can’t can they  )
In an act of loving sacrifice and compassion for her children, the Earth mother plucked out her eyes and hurled them to the sky, so that they could meet each other, and be in love and happy. But Calamity struck, each was sure that they had to run to find the other, and so the Sun and the Moon constantly chase each other through Azeroth’s Skies, causing day and night, always in love, but neither ever catching the other.

Little tragic story about Sunwalkers…

Prelates were simpler, their faith empowered them, just like anyone else, however as a few here have mentioned, it was faith in Rezan, the Loa of Kings. Now Rezan famously is dead (Because it’s not like Blizz to introduce something/someone cool then kill it in the same expansion is it? This has left a void, and many, High Prelate included are direly worried about where they go from here. Now it is possible, because of how Loa work in real life voodoo, that another Loa could provide them faith, and indeed I have heard a few times (Though I can’t find out any proof) that one of the Loa has stepped up and granted the Prelates their power, that being Shirvallah, the Tiger Loa of ferocity and strength. You might want to do some digging to find out if that is true, I have just seen quite a few Zandaboi prelate players stating it as a ‘thing’ so they must have gotten it from somewhere.

Anyway, it is perfectly possible that another Loa could grant them power, however the interesting thing is, Do the Prelates shape the Loa’s Power, or does the Loa and what they stand for shape how the Prelates behave?
