What are the counters for Paladin according to you ?
As a SP, I just spam dispell as much as I can, when they bubble I pop a swiftness potion to evade and hold on as long as possible, sometimes using Dispersion if necessary, can also use fear so they waste bubble/trinket, silence as well or Curse of Tongues with pet.
But really, being one shotted most of the time is just super annoying, especially by players that don’t seem to be really involved into pvp or don’t even have high rank.
The fact every Paladin also wear Might of Menethil as if it was some common item doesn’t particulary helps. Their Naxx set is now stronger that R13 pvp one (actually I use the R13, since this is the one with best armor and stamina, can’t really use Naxx set in pvp as SP to be fair).
I don’t mind Paladin becoming that strong. I’m more concerned about the fact most of the classes don’t have a proper counter against that.
Paladins is a joke, anyone playing a paladin in pvp and thinking they are skilled is a bigger joke, they 1 clap anyone.
And how on earth can blizzard next P8 give them 2set that increase holy dmg by ANOTHER 60%DMG!?? Its just too much, meanwhile other classes get crap bonuses in comparison, no other class get 60% increase on all their spells?.. IF horde doesnt get paladin in current state or they dont nerf them, this game is over.
physical slows/roots (aka not frost shock and similar spells cus they can cleanse those).
mana burning/draining.
i believe those are their worst fears as of right now - especially if you got a combination of 2 or more of these abilities.
and yes, it always helps to have a hard CC that can potentially force their bubble, such as fear, but that’s more of a chance rather than a certainty, as some of them will be smart enough not to waste their bubble until its necessary.
How do you counter a bubble? and that 50% reduction on dmg means nothing next phase when you get another 60% dmg from 2set new tier… Like hello dwarf u are the one with skill ussie relying on your 1global to win.
at least not forced to deal 50% less damage on a similar CD.
alteratives in LIP and FAP exist so you can actually use avoidance stats to beat paladins, disarm is also a thing never heard of it?
30% HP heal from Enraged Regen exists, even increasing HP on LS or Rally Cry are a thing, or what about your Lifegiving gem?
Charge/Intercept exists, it beats out that horse we got any day, heck with warbringer you cancel out movement impairing abilities on you. + Hamstring works wonders if you ever bothered to use it after a freedom.
But sure warriors are the worst at everything cough.
run away / mobility / outrange* burrow trinket / use defensives* heal
horde still having skill issues basically.
*You cant run away when the paladin Pony up ur face and 1 globals you.
*Only item that works is Burrow trinket, but what happens then? The paladin walks ontop of you and waits 12sec for you to pop up into 1 Global. Silly dwarf.
*You cant outheal anything in pvp. Specially not 1globals Paladins.
Pvp trinket is also useless, you trinket HoJ, you get instantly Repeteance into 1shot.
You are the one with skill issue thinking you’re good when your class is carrying you 200% with the Godlike dmg.
Ret paladins are performing great. Holy paladins are great. Prot paladins are great.
Paladins are absolutely mandatory because of blessings and horn of lordaeron (which by the way, is 2 shaman abilities combined into 1, but better)
Paladins are the hero class.
How do you propose we get the rage to do any of that?
C’mon Wave, even you know how poor warriors perform in PVP without a boatload of support. Support which would be better spent on something OP, like a paladin.

like, i mean come on. this dude is telling you guys that the “counters” to his class are niche trinkets from AQ20.
just run this enraged regen rune AND rallying cry, which both share the same rune slot ofc, and then also, you MUST have the burrow trinket AND lifegiving gem, and then you MIGHT survive more than 1 second against a paladin IF you make sure to also intercept him outside of his multiple anti-stun defensives while popping all these things at the same time.
oh, and make sure he isn’t currently affected by freedom before you intercept/charge for the hamstring.
i’m surprised he didn’t throw some tank warrior set bonuses (for shoulder rune) in there as a mandatory thing you MUST use despite giving up something else that is vital for your viability, in order to kill a paladin, let alone survive in case he connects with his 1 shot BS.
this guy is the type of dude who will unironically tell a fury/arms warrior to “just use a shield” to mitigate 10% of his one-shot combo despite it making no difference, in order to defend his precious paladin’s powerlevel aka to avoid the nerfbat.

when people cried about shamans we had like 5 patches straight of nerfs, but now that paladin is the clear offender, suddenly the pipe sings another tune.
Does trinket/FAP/LAP/LIP/Restorative Pot not exist for you or just being oblivious to actual counterplay? You can activate Bloodrage and gain benefit from ER. No wonder why horde players end up being trashed 9/10 times in BGs and wPVP.
The utter cluelessness speaks volumes on horde side, you truly embody the trash faction with no brains, flocking to the racials like moths to the flame.
They could nerf templar enchant to not work with 2h weapons and horde would STILL be whining.
Just like Angelik who still struggles as a horde player against paladin even when they are weak, typical . Force a forebearence and you can actually win, but most of ya would not even achieve that aka lack the skill to do so.
