Turalyon has a leap.
Arathor has a leap.
Liadrin has a leap.
Tirion(rip) had a leap.
Maximillian of Northshire straight up had a charge (For Doloria!).
Many important NPC paladins in the game have leaps, where is my leap blizz? :D
I want to leap and break frost mages like Tirion broke Frostmourne (pun intended).
You have nothing to want. You are level 110.
But yeah give paladins a leap.

Yeah, I found that pretty funny how in Legion we were supposed to get a gap closer - but Blizzard stated it wasn't "class fantasy" enough.
Then Arathor spammed it constantly as my follower... then Turalyon on Argus... then Tirion did it in WotlK... yeah... ;_:

According to developers...class fantasy is sitting in root or snare...healing and hitting every 10sec when somone pass by you.
If that so ...the fantasy is completed
I will gladly trade some of my dmg for 1 leap...but will never happen. Ret pala is curently worst disagned class...awesome dmg 5% up time

Don't even need the leap.
Give us back Clemency off GCD and removes slows and sprint on Judgement like we used to have and we are good to go.

Care to explain? In a PvE point of view of course.
Just let our cleanse remove slows like it used to...
A bit curious as to why you need a leap for pve17/10/2018 02:11Posted by TuridasCare to explain? In a PvE point of view of course.

For mobility? To close gap with mobs or to leap away from nasty stuff.
Didn't they introduced some teleport in Legion Beta or something?
We did get a gap closer the divine steed or horse if you will.16/10/2018 11:20Posted by TuridasYeah, I found that pretty funny how in Legion we were supposed to get a gap closer - but Blizzard stated it wasn't "class fantasy" enough.
When they said this we had Nothing nada 0 things.

We had a leap Turalyon might. It got scraped so we had nothing then Divine steed came in to the game instead.
Divine Steed should be baseline two charges and the talent should turn it into a leap.
I mean, divine steed is quite cool, usefulness debatable, compared to the cc chain and crazy damage, lets say rogues pull out now we have more limited mobility and defensives outside of lengthy bubbles, people who say pala is op havent tried to play one and do well.
A leap would be fitting and we would still be one of slowest classes along DK.

I'd have it as a talent, perhaps replacing Blessing of Freedom when selected.
Shorter duration slow/root immunity. Cannot be used on allies but cannot be spell stolen. Next Crusader Strike while ability is activeis a dash/leap ability?

Yep freedom have very limited useage...
I will be hapy if our cleanse remove slows and roots .... Good old times
As long as the correct limitations and "drawbacks" are used with any new Leap/Engage ability (Turalyon's Might? Word of Vindication? Blessing of Wrath? Heroic Intervention? Apprehend?) then we should be fine.
The problem would be if Paladins had no drawbacks at all. We have damage, we have utility, we have CC, we have shields and heals and damage reduction talents. Add incredibly good mobility and sticking potential might make us a bit overpowered!

I think leap>divine steed class fantacy wise.

CC, we have very limited compared to classes like rogue or mages, most classes can get away from our dmg if they want so.
