So I have been wondering about Warrior or Paladin for a while, since I wanted to play a Plate class as a new potential main. And I could really use some help on clarifying a few things about Warrior.
I have played Paladin back in BFA, and know it has all sorts of healing spells to keep themselves alive, and an insane dmg burst window when they pop wings.
But how does Warrior perform compared to Paladin?
I mostly wanna do BGs and WPvP (1v1s), and I am curious to know if I would just be frustrated if I went with Warrior, since many say that “Warrior needs a pocket healer”.
IF I were to talent into “solo PvP survivability” as Arms or Fury, would Paladin still be considered a wastly better class for what I’m seeking? What I mean by that, is talents like Impending Victory which heals for 40% health every 25sec.
And just to clarify to the meta fixated people…
I’m NOT asking if “Warrior is the meta right now”. I am asking about the class and it’s core design, since this would be a class that I stick with going forward.
Both classes are ok. Warrior can heal him too. I prefared play warrior with furry spec. Try arm, furry, and retry on 59lvl bg sync and decide what is more fun for you.
If you haven’t played warrior then spend more time on him.
While Warrior can take a punch (especially as Necro), Pala still has hilariously powerful healing on all his specs despite the nerfs, not to mention the extra “free trinket” via the bubble(s).
Depending on player skill the warrior will win every time.
Nothing can blow stuff up like a warrior with all cooldowns blown.
Sure the paladin can bubble but the warrior can just pop it within seconds and continue it forcing the ret paladin to go purely defensive and eventually dying.
