Pandaren hunters have amazing lore i learned especially after getting exalted with the Order of the cloud serpent.
One problem… you barely have much freedom to tame Cloud serpent colors.
you cannot tame blue cloud serpents unless it has lightning mogu effects (bad for rp)
you cant tame Jade cloud serpents, the most iconic. You cant tame Yellow cloud serpents.
you cant even tame the pink/Ivory cloud serpent unless you have the Nzoth toy which is currently impossible to obtain due to 1. a broken/ does not work quest to obtain the toy. 2. Its BFA PVP content where you need to kill ten players without dying and another ten players without dying. too much work to obtain a pink fast dragon for a non-pvper. i would rather they make the dragon tameable already.
This will improve RP for Pandaren hunters. Pandaren order of the cloud serpents have a bond with the Cloud serpents they choose and the color. I certainly bonded with my Jade cloud serpent that i raised from an egg to a adult, and now its my mount.
anyway this is just a simple suggestion for the future.
the only ones i managed to tame now is a red one and a black one. And for some reason i cant even name the black one.
simple selution to fix this problem is to maybe make some of the cloud serpents nuetral (friendly unless attacked) so that hunters can tame the cloud serpent color of their dreams.
I recently got Exalted with my Hunter, because I really like cloud serpents and he is not a Pandaren and so needed the book to tame them and also noticed that you cannot tame the basic colors to make them match your mount. And that two are not obtainable without the “hostile to all” toy.
If the BfA quest worked, I would just let you kill my alts over and over.
yup. Its very sad that we cant tame many of the famous colors.
i started to love cloud serpents not only because of the ingame lore, not only because the jade forrest is one of my favorite zones, but also because of ATLA.
i think Blizzard didnt keep in mind to put a few neutral or attackable colors cloud serpents to tame. Since Pandaria was made a long time ago and only recently in BFA (i think) cloud serpents are opened for taming.
That being said, Dragonflight is a good time to change this, since Dragons /cloud serpents will be in season again. Its never too late.
It will certainly help my Pandaren RP as im not a big fan of the red cloud serpents.
