A night of controversy has ended the life of Talietta, a void elf warlock, who has often traveled with the Fallen Leaf. Whether or not it was justified, tensions are once more rising unexpectedly within the Shrine of Seven Stars and possibly even within the order. It has not taken too long for the blood and drama to return after Nâzothâs downfall!
Following several deaths - which were more or less justified depending on who in the Leaf you ask - Kaiyu was yesterday sent off to a field camp at Greenstone, where she will continue forge work in a setting where such violent dilemmas are likely to be rare.
For Kaiyuâs part, she questions her membership in the Leaf, considering setting out on a personal journey to find herself better in this new dark state.
The rest of the Leaf travels south instead - business is had both in Valley and Wilds.
The streams whisper, the river speaks. The tides bring forth only bitterness and spite; they speak of promises broken by the end of an era. The rain howls, bringing with it only the anger that comes of a figure once mighty, brought to a humiliating low one too many times.
The waters speak of empires; that which existed, that which was promised, and that which will come to pass.
The earth trembles before the rising tide.
The Leaf pursue part of the Elemental Empires campaign, investigating what appeared to be a Saurok raid, but has since been revealed to be something far more concerning.
The Fallen Leaf has enough reputation to be noticed by a former Halfhill guard. He approves!
A former Zhuâs Watch guard salutes him!
The streams gurgle merrily, the river sluggishly flows. The tides lap, as they always do, gnawing idly on the sand of the coast. The rain patters against the soaking ground, the rains of Krasarang warm, and once more familiar. Harmony has been restored to the southern wilds of Pandaria; once more content to simply be as it is, without hungering for more.
The earth trembles before the rising tide; and relaxes, as the tide inevitably seeps back to the depths.
The Leaf have finished dealing with watery shenanigans, giant crabs, and rogue elementals, as part of their campaign, The Rising Tide.
Be sure to check them out if youâre interested in high-quality, Pandaria-centric roleplay with an interesting cast of characters!
I am loving the concept of this guild! i hope that we can RP together at some point, it would be good to see other pandaren out there.
Last night after the order held a meeting within the grounds of the Jade Temple, rumours have begun to circulate from within its walls about a change in the Fallen Leafâs end goal: they now intend to reinstate Pandariaâs empire that has been gone for over ten thousand years in order to unify the land and make it as strong as it once was.
OOC this means the start of yet another chapter in the Fallen Leafâs evolution from a simple group of traveling helpers to a more sizable and gradually more radical armed forces fighting for Pandaria.
As more crime and even danger on the scale of the voidâs invasion takes place in Pandaria, the order is becoming more and more convinced a firmer hand is needed to secure the continentâs future. Now instead of a government consisting of councils, they seek to reinstate a single ruler to take the reins.
As before, because this is obviously a goal too grand for any role-player to succeed in, we put emphasis on how the guildâs RP consists of working towards it yet never actually achieving it.
All hail the Empress!
Empress Shuang?
PerhapsâŚ
Oh dear. A page flipped towards a more exclusive push against outsiders? This will end in tears and bloodshed.
They have already brought the tears and bloodshed to us. We will end itâŚ
The time of Shado-pan is overâŚ
The Age of Fallen Leaf has come?
Nice.
Long may she reign!
I for one do -not- support my new pandaren overlords.
Excuse my defiance in the face of this positive reaction, but this development is not without its small share of opposition internally. Just wanted to point that out.
Foreigners (especially the rowdy group of worgen who made an attempt on the masterâs life!) may object to our goals of unification and fortification, but it does nothing but lend support to the righteousness of our cause!
Our lives and safety are worth more than your weekend vacations!
Geez, lay off the fanaticism-juice. Iâm just putting both sides of the development known.
And you know perfectly well yourself that it was not a group but an isolated incident involving a -single- assaulter.
Relax, I am just sorta jest-posting with my characterâs IC perspective!
But OOC, you really must agree that this direction is justified. The outsiders have been doing so much damage to Pandaria and its people, itâs past due a resistance arose.
lionheart says NO
