The Fallen Leaf should seek council from us Dark Irons. Some would say we’re experts at establishing new empires
it’s just going to cost about half the continent and an angry elemental lord :slightly_smiling_face:

Oh, it will definitely cause some ruckus among the populace if bloodier methods are employed. The pandaren are no strangers to revolution, but the years after the initial invasion and the melding of Horde and Alliance to the culture (pandaren have been noted as very welcoming after all) proves that everyone has benefited from these races meeting. Rekindling a more isolated Pandaria rekindles conflict, which a weakened Pandaria shouldn’t strive for.

And that’s the juicy fun, isn’t it?

Oh, we’re only using blood and steel against the enemies of Pandaria!

Shuang is, after all, a benevolent and wise master, so she will strive to win support bit by bit - from wealthy traders, town mayors, priests, clan masters and more - until she has enough to make a gambit for the throne.

No matter how many decades it may take

Elder Yoon Su disagrees

I’m fine with IC disagreements, but let’s not bring OOC into this.

“Ashes of Outland”.

Newest form of joy for Budus to spend his free time on the safehouse. What could possibly be better way to spend your time after long day of work than play a game of Hearthstone. Every card from the newest expansion reminded him of his past. Fel orcs of Outland. Naga of Zangarmarsh. And most importantly, demons of Shadowmoon Valley. All those memories hidden within ordinary playing cards.

As he was about to finish his turn, he heard the sound of footsteps. Young Gnome stopped next to Budus, panting from exhaustion yet able to tell the disturbing news about Leaf’s “change”.

Budus frowned upon hearing the news, sighed loudly and continued playing with the cards. “But did she say anything about Hearthstone? I couldn’t care less what she commands or conquers. It is her group, her decision and I have no quarrel with that.”

Confused by the reply, initiate was about to take his leave.

“However.” Budus continued, while looking at his new green cards. “If she ever forbids playing this amazing yet normal card game during my free time-” Budus turned to look at the initiate with stern yet threatening look. “There will be. Vengeance.”

A sphere of clouds surrounds our cabin.
An atmosphere of dead calm, forgotten.

You are playing in the grass for the last time.
Life was in it’s prime.

I regret leaving you.
I should have stuck to you, like glue.

The dead came and claimed the land.
Give him back, I demand

Boy, beloved.
This memory of you is still loved.

A poem to honor the memory of someone lost. Eredon felt his vision blurring, surroundings gradually transforming into foggy glass.

The crying must come later. Before a wail must always come a remembrance.

If only he knew.

Posters are slowly spread across Pandaria as the Leaf travels, initially in Kun-Lai but soon appearing in other towns and villages. They are written in pandaren, brush on paper.

Citizens of Pandaria!

We have been forced into an era of turmoil and strife. After thousands of years of guarded peace, we have now become exposed to a world fraught with hostility, and our revered protectors are now far too few to keep Pandaria safe.

With every passing year, peril has arisen again and again. It has become terribly clear just how frail our safety is. Any invasion could be the one to overwhelm us entirely.

And not only that. Deceitful foreigners walk our lands. Some offer genuine friendship, but others have much darker intent. Look to the mines they have dug in our fields! Look to the pirates raiding our shores freely, look to the unsightly fortresses on our borders like giant ticks. The friendship they offer comes at a terrible cost!

Though not all foreigners have violent intent, a great many are all too willing to spend the lives of our people to keep Pandaria open to them, available, a place to take breaks from their senseless wars and retire away from the holes they dig themselves into. NO MORE!

Now is the time for UNITY! Pandaria must stand on its own and treat with foreign lands as equals, not as a free-use loot pile! Set aside petty politicking and clan pride, join forces to fortify the homeland against threats present and future!

Answer the call of the Fallen Leaf, protect the homeland! Do not listen to the honeyed words of human, orc and elf, who would have you die for them in their pointless wars. Answer the call of Pandaria! Any pandaren who have Pandaria in their hearts are welcome, no matter your birthplace or rank. We can no longer afford to sit idle and comfortable!

Join the cause of Shuang Lian, bring unity to Pandaria - for the Celestials, for our families, for our homeland, for the future!

"And so the new leaf becomes a tree. Who would have thought."

Few weeks have passed since Budus left the order. With the rise of an new “empire”, warlocks were deemed dangerous and not fitting to be part of the order. Decision that Budus himself suggested and was put to action by the master of Fallen Leaf. He had served Shuang for over four years, assisting order and its people with his knowledge and skills in demonology. Now his duty was over and he had lost everything.

Gnome could not help but ponder how everything had turned out like this. Now staring at the barren ruins of Faronaar, Budus found himself once again visiting this forsaken place that still contained few survivors of the Burning Legion.

Memories of his former comrades and allies filled his mind as he continued heading deeper into the cave. So many experiences. So many memories. All for nothing.

These thoughts swiftly disappeared from his mind as he finally reaches his destination. At the end of the cave stood a large figure, surrounded with corpses. His form could not be seen properly due the darkness, but two green orbs kept staring at the gnome. Blood covered the ground as Budus approached the figure, standing now few meters away from the large demon that simply continued to stare at the gnome down below.

Perhaps he would someday return to the order. Perhaps he would return to his friends and help his former master to rebuild Pandaria. Or perhaps he would rather destroy the order and see Pandaria burn in flames. His mind became harder for the demon to read as Budus simply said "Well then, what has become of my daughter?"

Where’s the Fallen Leaf bopping around with their plan to unify Pandaria? Sometimes finding you cross-faction is a tad hard. :stuck_out_tongue:

Currently hanging about on a ship in preparation to rescue some of the order’s scouts that have been taken prisoner, but we’ll be returning to Pandaria next week!

The Fallen Leaf is back in Pandaria, having saved three out of the five scouts that had been nabbed by a vrykul warband. Their rescue mission came at the cost of several sailors, a leg and an elderly priest, whose funerals were held during their time recuperating at the sea.

Now with Pandaria’s soil under their feet once more, their focus returns to their grand goal of unifying Pandaria!

After a puzzle-filled treasure hunt and a martial arts tournament, the Leaf is once again faced with the usual grim nature of their work. A group of rogue zandalari working behind Queen Talanji’s back has been causing the order trouble for months now, and their most recent attack has finally been enough to push the Leaf into action for a counterattack on their hideout - hopefully to finish the issue for good.

They now journey to Kun-Lai to plan their next move together with the Shado-Pan.

After a brief tour to Vol’dun to help clear up some loose ends, the Leaf has decided to return home. On the way, several members were poisoned by what was presumably vengeful vulpera as they passed through the Alliance base, but cures have finally been distributed and now the journey home begins.

The Fallen Leaf’s arguably both unluckiest and luckiest group finds themselves faced with an old foe: a particularly dangerous human with a grudge for one of the order’s members. Fortunately they managed to avoid walking into an ambush thanks to the bad poker face of a blackmailed pandaren, only to end up ambushed regardless thanks to their dallying.

After a frustratingly even fight, the foe managed to slip away and remains a looming threat over the group. Now they must either manage to avoid yet another ambush, or find their foe before they have a chance to prepare one.

Those were some tough negotiations we’ve been having with these guys tonight. Although the tensions were high ICly and are most likely only going to rise even further, I can safely say that OOCly I have enjoyed this whole encounter a lot!

It was great to interact with unyielding, idealist Pandaren so firmly set in their ways. Was I ever to create a Pandaren alt I’d most definitely give this guild a try.
