Pandaria in general is so amazing!! From actual serious moments like Sunwalker Dezco’s wife to really funny ones like Anduin mind controlling Sully the dwarf so he’d let him go adventure, Pandaria is one of my favourite questing zones!
TBC, not because it’s the best, it’s just nostalgia.
I have fond memories of Outland, my glory days in WoW. I go back regularly and find stuff to do just to be around there. I guess I’ll never be able to enjoy WoW the same way ever again.
I don’t remember a single time i saw a Panda in any WC games until WC3 through.
Sure it might have being in the lore outside the games. But i ain’t talking about the lore in general. I am talking about the first time it appeared in their games.
Reasoning:
Legion:
Class halls.
The focus on class.
Talking skul weapon.
Warlords of dreanor.
My personal garrision.
I love building it up.
The rest of the expension can burn in fel fire.
I wish we got a far beter down garrision.
I just love building my own little place.
With its own servants, building’s, etc.
That would be something i woudnt mind grinding for.
Ow a tree of life instead of a castle?
But i have to grind orc tears for it.
Damm.
Where am i going to find an orc and make him cry until i have a thousent tears.
As of right now I’m progressing through full Pandaria storyline, I have done every zone and now I’m finishing Dread Wastes. I’m also reading the novels about Pandaria to help my immersion and to know more about the World!
There’s a reason I’ve got a worgen warrior and a vulpera monk just starting Pandaria now. Ever since the first hint of the squish, I’ve held off levelling anything so’s to get the chance to do so when I can spend a decent amount of time here. Some of the best visuals, quest, and music in the game, imho
Reason is Thrall was still the Warchief of the Horde at that time.
You were free to roam around and explore Durotar, like a true adventure without having NPCs talking to you.
The gear you got from there is very down to Earth in terms of realism.
Nostalgia basically.
One of the best places I came across was Ashenvale.
It’s amazing how your perception changes.
Back in Vanilla that place was a Night Elf area and I hated it, as a Troll Hunter (this character). I preferred the coastal areas and drum sounds.
During Legion expansion, however, while playing a level 20 BE Hunter my perception changed. Because now I was watching it through the lens of someone who was familiar with forest environment (Eversong woods), felt almost like the Forest was itself was crying at some point.
