Hello.
I get used to /p xyz chat. In dungeons, when someone texted something u saw it up his head with blue collor.
Now? Whenever i write /p xyz it becomes in instance chat. And anything written in instance chat does not show up to someone head… So its hard sometimes to notice someone wrote something. Im wrong?
If this is how it works im dissapointed. /party chat appearing up to someone head was good…
Thing is that instance and party are two different things.
You can be in an instance-group created by the group finder and get invited into a normal party while still being in the instance-group.
You can then chat with your party through /p and with your instance with /i. Only when you are not in a party your /p gets automagically rerouted to /i. What you need is an option to display /i as chat bubbles. Not sure if something like that exists though.
What makes this confusing is mostly that when joining an instance-group hides your self-built party gets hidden in the unit-frames-interface. The party however stays even if you join an instance-group.
I think the differentiation has something to to with the respective leader’s authorities concerning group composition. While the party-leader may invite and kick the instance-leader cannot.
