Subject: Location Bug & Mind Vision Issue on Anniversary & Era Realms
Hello fellow adventurers!
I’ve been playing on the WoW Classic Anniversary realms and noticed an annoying bug that’s also showing up on the Era servers. It’s actually impacting group play in a pretty frustrating way. Here’s what’s going on:
Issue 1: Group Members’ Locations on the Map
Whenever I group up with someone who’s in a different zone, their location never properly shows up on the world map. Instead of displaying their actual location, it shows them as being somewhere random out in the ocean!
Issue 2: Mind Vision (Rank 2) Bug
This one ties into the first issue. When you’re grouped with someone who’s not in the same zone, Mind Vision (Rank 2) can’t be cast on them. Even if they’re standing right next to you—like, literally two feet apart at the gates of Stormwind—you can’t cast it.
We’re hoping for a quick fix on this—getting both of these issues resolved would really improve the group experience on the Anniversary and Era realms.
Anyone else experiencing this? Let’s keep this thread going and hopefully get Blizzard’s attention!
TL;DR:
- Group members’ locations are displayed incorrectly (usually out in the ocean) on the world map when they’re in a different zone.
- Mind Vision (Rank 2) can’t be cast on group members in different zones, even if they’re standing right next to you.
