Party Sync to Gear Alts

I frequently see level 60s in the 51-59 bracket, and after trying to gear a new alt in BGs I’m starting to wonder if party sync is a more enjoyable way to gear alts.

What’s the point in being a punching bag in level 60 BGs when you can just party sync into the 51-59 bracket, where item level is far more even? Are honor gains lower or something?

51-59 is way more fun/balanced.
It’s depressing hitting 60.

Party Sync should just be Sync.
Solo players exist.
