Patch 11.1 dramatically decreased FPS and increased load times

Heya,
Since the patch the maximum graphics settings fps has dropped from 30-40 in Dornogal to ~10 on a good day. Dropping all the settings to minimum, off, disabled etc., has almost no effect. Playing with the settings in Orgrimmar, where max used to over 60, max is now ~15 and min ~30. No hardware or software changes since the patch, besides the latest NVIDIA drivers.

In addition the UI is now very laggy, with login and load screen times stretching to over a minute - long enough to miss LFR queue popups. They weren’t instant before, generally 5-6 seconds.

Came here for the exact thing!

For context, I use a Mac Mini M4 Pro, 12-Core CPU / 16-Core GPU / 24GB Unified Memory / 512GB SSD Storage.

Normally run WoW on graphics settings of 8, never had a problem, everything ran as it should at 60fps, sometimes dipping to maybe 50fps. I use a few add-ons as well, once again nothing that would break the bank & nothing that has caused problems either.

11.1 has been released & since then the second I open the game, boom fan kicks in at 2.5/3k RPM, CPU increase to around 90° & FPS dropped to around 40-45, all with the same settings & add-ons as before, also the same happens if I run full screen or window mode.

I’ve since reinstalled WoW, with no add ons, turned graphics to 8 & the same thing happens as above!

Browsing the US forums I found this:
Uninstall Razer Chroma
Which, so far, has fixed my issue :crossed_fingers:

Hi,
same problem. After Patch my fps drops from steady 60 to 20 … Before it was always 60fps. Any solution?
