I take it back, i just had 2 massive freezes within 20 sec.
found a solution . Unsub and play other games until these devs start giving a crap about technical issues plaguing their game. Hope that helps .

It won’t happen. Patch 11.2.5 files has already been found. At some point I assume the subscription numbers dropped to a point they didn’t like, and they keep pushing out these low effort patches so often + timegating, so no one has time to take breaks. You gotta stay subbed 365 days a year, and even then there’s not enough time between patches to complete everything, so you’re always behind.
I’ve been having the same issue. It’s so annoying, but I’m kind of relieved it’s a game thing and not a computer thing.

I just got a new PC (5070ti / 7800x3d/32gb ram) and I am having the issue of minor 1-2 second freezes during M+ which is becoming really frustrating.
I have Elvui/DBM/Class WA and dungeon WA with voice pack. Right now I have had to disable elvui to test it but the standard UI is lame. Never had a problem with older PC’s that I had that were not as powerful so idk?
While i wont ever say the issue is solved 100%, but when i deleted the WA pack and DBM along with the sound packs (and also disabled GTFO) and stopped advanced combat logging, the problem occuring has gotten significantly less than it was before.
Ive even managed to turn back directx 12 once again after this change.

I’m also experience screen freezing. This happens in raids but it also happened once outside of a raid. It only seems to happen to me when opening up my inventory. My screen freezes, goes black and I see a bunch of numbers. I have no addons installed.

I have the same problems after new prepatch in mist of pandaria but i switched from dx12 to dx11 and problem was fixed. But would be great if they gonna fix this because i want to play on dx12 >.<

After today reset the problem is worst. Game freeze 3-4 seconds even i open the mount journal.
same thing happening here in raid. i get a 5-6 second freeze, only happened once on stix. then on Gally the game crashed and had to restart
also happens in solo shuffle, of course, in critical moments right at the endgame.
I change DX12 to DX11 restart the game and all is ok for now. Even the transmog UI load.
Hope they fix it for season 3, because is coming soon.
Come on, it has been 4 months now, and you still haven’t fixed this? It should be a TOP PRIORITY. We don’t care about season 3 when there’s a game breaking bug occurring in our every single raid and dungeon we play in the game.
It has broken enough M+ keys now to be called unplayable.

So still not definitive fix? I just got a new, high-end pc, and suddenly I have this issue. Didn’t have it before. Could it be an addon malfunctioning? It’s super annoying
Anyone tested this issue with 0 addons active?
Are you using any addon with 3D portraits?
