As a healer, I deplete keys because of this at least once a week. not to mention how many times i died because of this. sometimes freeze is 2sec log and sometimes 10 sec. everything else works well, just wow having freezes in most random scenarios. one more time and I am done, this have not been fixed for a long time

I’m not having freezing problems so much my problem is randomly after sometime playing normally around 1hr or so my frame rate just tanks for seemingly no reason.
Temps and memory usage is all with in spec happens regardless of GFX settings or if I play with add-ons or not, something is horribly wrong.
But blizzard is just looking the other way, hoping it will fix itself or that people will just get used to it
After a long and tedious process of trial and error, and a lot of suffering through bricked keys with this freeze lag issue, I have managed to fix it.
- Go in to Details settings and change refresh rate to 0.5, or better yet 1.0 seconds.
- Disable or remove RaiderIO addon.
- Disable VEM Voice Pack for DBM, or similar thing with BigWigs if you are using that.

None of these worked for me sadly i dont use voice packs nor RaiderIO i did change the refresh rate thing tho but its still doing it
Have you tried disabling/enabling Target FPS? Or max Foreground FPS?

Hey, I tried everything and thought i might’ve found something that was causing the stutters, the iCue software of my mouse, i removed it from startup and the stutters seemed to have gone away for several days… Up until today, same freeze (2-5s), mouseovers stop working, brick someone’s key… Again.
I’m having the same f***** issue too, I’m sick of this, another depleted key on random f***** freezes.
My game does the same thing, but with 30% cpu usage. Settings doesn’t matter, it does the same thing in 600x800 resolution or 4k, all addons or no addons, backround apps also irrelevant, tried it on a fresh install too. This is likely a graphics engine bug that is present for nearly a year.
They haven’t even fixed the renderscale yet… been over a year… what do you expect from this small indie company? 
After six months of random 4–5 second freezes in M+ and Delves, I finally found the solution.

Since following the steps, all my freeze issues have completely disappeared.
Just for context: Before the fix, I had over 180 data.* files in my Data folder. After the refresh, only about 100 clean files remained.
Step-by-step guide:
- Exit World of Warcraft.
- Close the Battle.net launcher.
- Delete the Data folder located at e.g.
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Data. - Launch Battle.net — it will automatically detect the missing files and begin re-downloading them (approx. 110 GB).
- Play the game — no more freezes!

Tried that one, but by itself it did not help. I also disabled audio enhacements in Windows audio and was disabling addons one by one when the event occurred and found out, that Bagnon addon was causing these freezes. So it seems, that combo of sounds and inventory addons was the case for me.
I had this issue of freezes in dungeons and raids when mechanic is happening and sound is being played by addon/wa from time to time in past. But this last couple days i had so many of these freezes more than last enitre month… And they lasted way longer than normally in past. Anyone also experiencing more of these issues lately?
Finaly got enough today … I tried every solution in this Topic nothing work cant play m+ raids or even delves with those freezes everytime after freeze im dead … So canceling sub is only option here.

This has happened on and off for a few weeks now… for me it happened
- before the beams come out on the first boss in dawnbreaker.
- 3rd boss of HoA
- and the add before the last boss in HoA
As a healer especially for pug groups its extemely unpleasant to be the cause of a deplete. Also making you a target for unwanted toxicity. With turbo boost around the corner i was hoping to finish my +12s… with this bug I wont be touching any endgame activities and have unsubbed. I wont continue to play test the game. I hope to see a blue post with a solution or fix, even just an acknowledgment.
I play on m4 Mac - had no issues before even on high graphics settings. As of patch 11.1 - screen freezes constantly during m+ especially when lots of stuff happens on screen. I of course tried reducing all graphics to 0 no improvement.
Since i only play the game for mythic+ and after multiple attempts at reaching out to blizzard with no solution, ill be cancelling my subscription today.

For me, the freezes (around 10 seconds, sometimes the game closed without any error message) started after I made some Windows registry tweaks for faster app kill times.
Well, any other solution?
Its start happending from last reset for me till then it was ok.
I try everything, no addons, no wa- based blizz UI, reinstal game, reinstal win. Try old patches from N-vidia, try evrery possible settings on wow.
Nothing help. Still same M+/raiding is almost impossible to play and enjoy.
But probably best advice from this post is: found a solution . Unsub and play other games until these devs start giving a crap about technical issues plaguing their game. Hope that helps . 
bigger question is what did you disable/uninstall ?
anyway unsub is right choice, every other big company software mostly do error checking when needed
