It was so hype. I saw a Warlock here saying they have no utility and people chewing him out saying they do.

The 3rd and 4th DPS were Paladin and Warlock and I took the Warlock.

I never look for CR since I have it and me dying is usually a wipe (frequently I have no CR on my VDH). I always forget Warlocks even have it.

I die on 2nd boss and I’m thinking “Well this key is cooked.” Lock uses CR, saves the pull and the entire key.

It was like the stars aligned.

did you miss the optional part? that means you can turn it off

  1. No i didn’t miss it.
    However, knowing how role agnostic scaling voodoo works i doubt it will be truly optional.
    You have sanity bar in Horrific Visions and sanity bar is just a fancy name for a timer.
  2. Like i said to Keento, i was speaking broadly and from existing experience. I’ve said:

“Stop” implies that something is already happening.
We have stupid Brann
We quest mostly with babbling NPCs holding us for hand
etc…

No. It really, really wasn’t ‘fine’. Horrific Visions were some of the most godawful content they’ve ever made. And corruptions were horrible too. The notion of kiss/curse mechanics is THE stupidest thing in gaming.

Anyway…

This patch is not going to get me to resub. None of those activities appeal to me.
Do better Blizz. Earn my money.

Nope. My sub is not active, but the forums haven’t caught up yet so I’m still able to post.
But even if I was able to play I will never do M+. Because I hate it.

Indeed it won’t. I’m utterly convinced it’s still some of the most awful content they’ve ever made, with or without a companion.

Now; in general I have no issues whatsoever with the concept of a companion… But I don’t think that’s a big surprise coming from someone who’s played BM Hunter for the vast, vast majority of their time in WoW.

PS: You thinking it was fine is also subjective. Just sayin’. :kissing_heart:

Corruptions will SO throw the balance more out of the window than it already is.

I wonder if they kept the RNG of it - 4x Twilight Devastation chainprocs and we are back at good old BFA.

Nehhhh… Blizzard need to give me a WoW I find fun enough to pay for first.
The only reason why I could make a month-long return before such a time is if the Trading Post has something truly amazing that I don’t want to miss out on. Yep, FOMO might get me back for a little while. :wink:

Wasnt brann tank like super busted for first weeks ? Allowing people with literaly fresh ilvl finish 8+ with an ease
