You can use this topic to add your own new informations from the ptr. But right now I will just start with this here.
Eye of the Corruptor: Listen. Listen. Listen. LISTEN.
Eye of the Corruptor: You were right to doubt them.
Eye of the Corruptor: The undrowned will join the chorus. Listen to it.
Eye of the Corruptor: Listen. Open the gate. Step into the abyss. Complete the circle.
Eye of the Corruptor: Listen. You know this is the truth. It is but one of a thousand. You have only to listen.
Eye of the Corruptor: Everywhere you look, the stars gaze back. You know their form already. You have but to listen.
Eye of the Corruptor: Listen. She is a threat. Kill her. KILL HER.
Eye of the Corruptor: The queen threatens the king. There is no way to win. Listen.
A) Sylvanas is too unimportant to be a danger to the void as a faction and is not in Nazjatar
B) Chronicles already said that only Azeroth had the power to stop the Void Lords
C) It does not whisper N’zoth, it whispers the void, the Void Lords communicate through the void whispering.
Means the news never made sense to be seen from the perspective of N’Zoth.
Probably a refrence to the fact that Azshara will be using the Heart of Azeroth to free N’zoth within the Circle of Stars section of the Eternal Palace. The player will “step into the circle” and complete it with the Heart of Azeroth, which kind of looks like a star.
Probably references how the shadow seeks out every path and announces them as true.
It has been speculated that the “Circle of Stars” refers to a circle of luminiscent fish surrounding the entryway to N’zoth’s prison. In the darkness, from a distance, their lights/eyes look like stars, gazing back at you.
Sylvanas is evil. My personal theory is that Sylvanas intends for Azeroth to die, whihc would be bad for both us and the old gods, thus making her the “true enemy” of all life, which is why the Old Gods want her dead.
So the Eye of N’zoth say us we need to kill her. I don’t think that it means Sylvanas because N’zoth wanted that she get his dagger. I think that the eye mean Azshara, like she is the only known woman which is called Queen beside of Sylvanas so probably she is a thread for the King Anduin or N’zoth, who could also be the “King” of Azshara?
N’zoth already gave Sylvanas the empty Knaifu. It would be strange if she was the big enemy.
I have no idea how to interpret that stuff.
Queens? Azshara, Sylvanas, possibly Azeroth, Moira, Mia Greymane, Anduin’s future bride, kind of Calia, the new Klaxxi empress, Talanji, of course, in a broader sense possibly Helya…
Kings? Anduin, Genn, in some sense N’zoth, King Mechagon, the Lich King, the Diamond King, Mekkatorque, Rezan, Monkey King…
And if we take the king and queen as chess/game metaphors (like in “the king of diamonds has been made a pawn”), it could fit to quite a lot more characters, considering any important and powerful figure could be a queen and every important objective a king.
No idea.
If I had to bet, my money would probably be on Sylvanas killing the Lich King.
What is certain is that Anduin won’t die, unless he manages to produce an heir with Taelia and said heir somehow becomes 18 by the time Battle for Azeroth is over.
“Sylvanas threatens Anduin” would also be kind of a redundant point. Really? Who would have thought that the leader of the Horde was threatening the leader of the Alliance.
If Anduin dies without an heir, the line of Wrynn ends and Stormwind is plunged into civil war. Unless Blizzard wants to write a political drama involving Stormwind (which I very much doubt), then Anduin will not die. And will in fact continue to rule as King of Stormwind and, of course, High King of the entire Alliance.
Indeed, in one of the possible futures, as depicted in the comic Son of the Wolf, shows Anduin retaining his High King of the entire Alliance position many decades after Battle for Azeroth.
Genn would and should take the throne if Anduin bites the dust
After all, he is already a king, mentor of Andy (not to mention the tragical scenario where he loses another 'son") and the old wolf would make the Horde Pay, with a capital P for every crime they commited against Azeroth
Listen to the Whispers… they tell the truth!
