Patch 9.2 Encrypted Vendor Build Datamined

Wowhead just shared that an encrypted vendor build was released, which means that the PTR should soon be updated with 9.2 content.

I place my bets on Ion doing an online announcement in two weeks for patch 9.2 in a similar manner to what they did back in 8.2, with a forum post next reset to give us the exact date & time.

Anyway it’s good to see them working this early on 9.2. We usually have to wait a few weeks after patch release for the PTR to be updated. Actions speak louder than words, and we’ll see if 9.1.5 was a one time thing or a real change in design.

Interesting, thanks for linking Sholah. I am surprised, but happy if this is the case, would like to see what they have to offer

I don’t think we’ll have to wait that long.

Fingers crossed.

We used to be notified of such event a week ahead of time iirc, but I don’t quite remember if it was usually done around the weekly reset or not. It would be kinda rushed to announce it Monday & do the event the day after isn’t it ?

I’d expect around next reset a blue will share the date & the event will happen a week later, thus my 2 week estimate. Do hope it’s earlier tho.

Me neither. Tho it’s very possible.

I think an announcement is next week. hopefully

Looks like a late february release assuming it will be on the ptr for 2.5 months like the other 9.x and 9.x.5 patches were.

  • allied factions ( faction merge )
  • “Trials of the First Ones” PvE challenge
  • Zereth Mortis ( new zone )
  • new dungeon and raid

also the next expansion is called WoW: Awakenings

Next week, not in two weeks.

That’s extremely fast, fingers crossed there’s some good stuff coming. I’m cautiously optimistic after 9.1.5 introduced a lot of QoL.

Don’t spread fake news little trump. As if there main goal would be a new class when they can’t even balance older ones

So they finally fix enha?

They might be pushing out an earlier build than usual because they know they need to as content is just so behind. Also an earlier build (if true) might mean players can give feedback earlier in the development process.

Omg who dis! Welcome back

good to see you too! join us on FF discord!

This is pointing towards an early 2022 release for 9.2.
IF they wrap up Shadowlands in 9.2 then a late 2022 10.0 release is a possibility.

That’s a kind offer, but Communities are not my thing, even though I know there are many who love them

Would love it if that were true, especially if it was back on Azeroth as they have kind of hinted.

Aye. And I would think that 'making new up-to-date versions of exisiting zones is less work than making an entirely new zone, so they could make a fair amount more zones available in 10.0 than a normal expansion would.
