Before, I would be excited to log in knowing that there is a PATCH DAY. Hype to see what’s next and new from WoW. The only better thing is expansion day, nothing beats those two days. It’s not even close.
War within introduced pre-release of the expansion, which killed the expansion day.
Now, when I log into patch day first thing I have to do is go to Wowhead and see what is released within a patch this week.

Can someone from Blizzard explain why there is a need for a month of time gating to get a patch feature, then waiting another month to unlock a feature, and then waiting another month to get the second feature in a patch?
Amazing ideas are broken by idiotic time gating that sucks out fun for everyone.
