Patch notes we absolutely need

Warlock *Demonology

  • Axe Toss no longer interrupts Players
  • Master Summoner (pvp talent) has been removed
  • Legion Strike no longer applies Mortal Strike effect on players

Shaman *Elemental

  • Elemental Blast damage reduced by 33% in PVP
  • Ascendance lava burst proc damage reduced by 50% in PVP

Shaman *Enhancement

  • Ascendance now causes attacks to ignore 33% Armour down from 100% in PVP

Paladin *Retribution

  • Jurisdiction no longer effects Final Verdict or Justiciar’s Vengeance
  • Final Verdict range reduced to 8 yards
  • Divine Arbiter damage reduced by 75% in PVP
  • Blessing of Sanctity now a choice node in the Paladin talent alongside Blessing of Sacrifice
  • Blessing of Sanctity & Blessing of Sacrifice now have base line 1 minute cool-down
  • Sacrifice of the Just & Recompense removed

Rogue * All specs

  • Kidney Shot now have a 45s CD and stuns for 5 Seconds in PVP (7 seconds in PVE). No longer cost Combo Points.

Rogue *Assassination

  • Hemotoxin has been removed

Rogue *Subtlety

  • Shadowy duel duration reduced to 3 seconds

Monk *Mistweaver

  • All damage reduced by 20% in PVP

Warrior *Arms / Fury

  • Heroic Leap & Double Time now share a choice node

Hunter (All specs)

  • Pet special can no longer apply mortal strike to enemy players

Don’t forget nerf to soul leech. Make lock use shards and globals if they want some healing.

10.1 almost does this. At least for destro.
Chaos bolt always crit and since crit dmg is going from 175 to 150% destro will deal a lot less dmg.

Not sure how it affects mages though

Forgot the most important one: Give feral self-heal and single target damage back and reduce dmg of AoE-Rip with 120% (so it heals opponents and is completely unusable because no one likes AoE-feral and it is an abomination that shouldn’t exist and I have no reason to play the game anymore)

Destro receives buffs to compensate for it, 20% to cb, something similar to incinerate and conflag. TLDR his damage will be the same

Axe toss should have never kick in pvp, this mechanic is so dumb already… I agree but then they should bring back call fel hunter to 24 sec, nerf to 1min cd is horrible and useless.

Grimoire felguard should stay as it is, I mean you overestimate it but it’s a 2 min cd so it should have an impact otherwise what’s the point.

I think for demo only a rework at this point can balance the spec, currently too much pets that’s dumb.

Just make it the pve spec. It’s very cool thematically it just doesn’t really work design wise in pvp.

The point was to reduce the pace of game, and not to eliminate certain specs from pvp at all. If you crit less on arms or ret, you’re still be fine. And if your only damage depends on crit, like fire mage, you just can’t play. They buffing only fire mage, destro and a bit frost dks, as far as I remember

I get that. I just thought they would move away from the big crit meta.
But I guess that would require buffing sustain on the specs you mentioned or nerf basically everything else… Too much work!

Not only Destru, Ele gets 20% LB dmg and Mages get some bonuses as well. It makes sense if spells always crit. Damage will be still smaller than it’s now but these classes don’t end up being way weaker than others.

P.S.:

The only patch notes we need are changes to 10.1 sets. R Shaman one for example is a joke.

Just to be sure, you realize that unless we need nothing else at all in the available talents, we don’t even pick it with how much it was nerfed, right ?

Not defending it, obviously I don’t care if a talent we don’t use gets removed, but I wonder… your list seems to be a list of things to nerf, or remove because too strong. Are you sure you have the knowledge required to make such a list in an educated manner when Hemotoxin gets removed half the games in light of literally any utility option we may get ?

True but tbh not a big fan of your idea cause for myself for example I always played sp/demo/outlaw in all aspect.

But I agree some spec are either terrible or op there is no middle ground like demo/outlaw/hpriest/mm/enhance just find that sad.

Don’t tell him about the nice changes for Thorim’s Invocation in 10.1 :shushing_face:
