almost everytime we patch wow on my wifes computer, the wow,exe gets corrupted or broken. and reinstall and repair wont work. the only solution i found is to copy my wow.exe file from my computer and replace it on her computer works right now. she got wireless and i got wireless connection. works like a charm on my computer but not hers
Have you tired wired connection on her computer?
Generally corruption like that could be caused by faulty RAM or storage - but that usually would be more random corruption rather than just one specific file.
One possibly culprit is anti-virus software - are they same on both computers? Have you tried different AV or disabling it during patching process?
