I write this to share a nice cheese me & my brother found to easily grind every achievement & encounter in the path of ascension
This should probably belong in bug report, but this feature is such in a neglected state I find it unacceptable so I wanted to give it more visibility.
To summarize: You are able to start a fight with multiples bosses at once, engage & kill only the easiest of the 2, then enjoy progression made on the harder boss.
=> It does not work with more than 2 bosses at once from our testing, you only get progression from the LAST boss spawned
To reproduce, in the path of ascension:
- Pick Mikanikos
- Start any fight
- Use Bronn ability to throw mikanikos next to the edge & jump
- you lose, go back to the lobby
- From this point you are in a “bugged state”, you may start combat with bosses without being teleported into the arena (as long as you do not choose a soulbind).
- Start the “easy” boss
- Select the soulbind you wish to get progress on
- Start the “harder” boss & be ready to fight. (you will only get completion of the last boss spawned)
- Now the last part isn’t completely free, you need to pull the easy boss and kill it, beware that you get the enrage timer of the other boss if it’s shorter, so it’s not a “free win”.
For pelagos, he can pull safely with his spell, you may fight Kalistene as the easy boss with the item that clear root.
For Kleia & Mikanikos, you will need the item that kick to pull. The easiest of the boss is Athanos.
=> We were able to kill every bosses without charms, but you may craft them if you struggle against bosses.
Lastly, a bit off topic but another “funny” bug is that every boss is named Polemarch Kalistene, ridiculous …
This feature is available since 9.0.0, it is still not doable properly, still overtuned as hell, requiring you to break the game so you may advance, still filled with bugs. This is beyond words at this point…
