Pathfinder 2 you need rep on a continent you won't be able to fly in

Isn’t that weird?

I know it was like that in Legion, but when you think of it, it really doesn’t make sense

So I have Pathfinder 1, but to finish the achievement and be able to fly I need to get exalted and do quests on a place I won’t even be able to fly on… To be able to fly

I wouldn’t mind it, like Argus. But it being part of the meta is just straight up lame.

I’m confused, is there any official news about BfA Pathfinder part 2?

Except it wasn’t. Pathfinder 2 in Legion required Armies of Legionfall reputation from Broken Shore. After getting that achievement you were able to fly even above Broken Shore. Argus came out next major patch and had nothing to do with Pathfinder.

Now for BfA. Why do you assume you won’t be able to fly in Nazjatar while Feasel said they are planning to enable flying in both Nazjatar and Mechagon. Do you have any fresher information you’d like to share?

They also said you wont be able to fly there immediately, following the same system from legion, meaning exactly what op posted …

We will get flying in location you have no reason to be in …

I took that to mean there’d be some gating for Pathfinder 2, not that you’d never be able to fly there.

They said after there"mistake" in Legion that they will not do the same again where they bring out flying only for it not to be usful after the feedback they got.
Unless OP is working for blizzard and knows something we dont its just “hearsay” atm .
The new zones in 8.2 some notice the “some” of it will be under water the rest above land and a fly zone .
Also as far as i know there is no “new” rep coming in 8.2 .

Wondering this also…

In Legion you had to wait 11 weeks for the whole questchan to unlock in order to get pathfinder. So that’s probably what they meant. That you won’t be able to get pathfinder on day one. Probably there will be some timegated war campaign for the Pathfinder.

And as for OP he’s wrong about how it worked in Legion. And probably he’s also wrong how bfa flying is unlocked.

Well obviously they want you to play the next garbage content that no one likes. Probably also add “do 10 warfronts after 8.2” just so that people have to still play that joke of a content

it is yet just another way to force people doing their crap content. Instead of designing content that is fun and people would like to do voluntarily, they design garbage and just force you to do it because you want something for other content

in doubt, there is always a new rep coming to increase those maus

Ok i am now officially starting to hype the flying. I really really hope they dont corrupt this somehow, cause it is starting to sound really nice! :star_struck:

I’m pretty sure one of the philosophies of flying now is that you can’t fly in an area until it is ‘old content’, as in, not the current patches area. By the time we can fly in Zandalar, cutting edge BfA will be elsewhere.

dont hype too much . you are now getting 8.1.5.

8.2 wont be out till august/september -_-

I know i know…

I got a bit different of a question.

PF-1 achievement is account wide - I got that done, then switched my main.
Now, say PF-2 is released, will it be feasible to complete its requirements without the individual aspects of PF-1 on my new main? (New rep / questline instead of expecting revered factions from PF-1 to now be exalted or extending the base questlines from PF-1 by adding another 50 quests and those now need to be done for PF-2?)

The ideal end-result being my old main added PF-1 achievement to my account, new main adds PF-2 and overall I’m able to fly?

Yes, you can do part 2 on another character. It’s an account wide achievement just like the part 1 was. You can do each of the requirements on a seperate character and it still counts.
