How much of a pain in the backside is this these days?
I want the purple Mogs.
Badly.
Anima isnt an issue.
But last I heard the fights became a pain at a certain point so I didn’t bother.
Still the same? Or is it cakewalkable?

These days…? What? You know it doesn’t scale with gear right…? It did not change and will never change because you play a vehicle.
it should scale with renown as far as i heard, but i was tryhard enough to finish in 9.0 so havn’t gotten to check its difference
depends on exactly which purples you mean. “disciple of humility” is quite annoying since you need to learn each character (and probably to make use of all equipment). and master of the path as well.
but keep in mind there are no variables like gear, player power, RNG or anything so it’s really just about you getting better at it
for me it was cakewalk, so much that I was disappointed by how easy it was. like Maldraxxus “event” took some time to get achivements etc, venthyr takes the most, nightfae takes some time too afaik tho never tried it, and kyrian event took me 2 days (a few hours here and there) to complete fully at lvl 5, was disappointing it was a 2 day content
As in nerfed…
I need like a guide for idiots for this event. Every time I try to do it I end up logging out the game.
EXACTLY!
A big yellow “Paths For Dummies” book would be great
Yes!!!
I came from having Venthyr Parties, planting seeds, running around with abominations to this. the worst event they could have come up with
Are we talking about the private server?
The Kyrian minigame event thing:-
Guides don’t help much, most of it is getting lucky with bugs and RNG - bad from start to finish and designed to waste as much time as possible. Pelagos is easy to do even on humility, Kleia and even more so Mikanikos are simply impossible unless you’re tryharding 24/7. And keep in mind you’ll have to go through this torture four times to get all the armor types.
I completed it over a year ago.
I spent over a month farming the Anima for it in advance, but Anima isn’t an issue these days.
Master of the Path (which gives the wings), is fairly achievable. Each fight seems to have been designed with a specific Soul Bind in mind. However, Disciple of Humility is somewhat tactical, and some of those tactics are certainly questionable.
However, during the time I was working through it, Blizzard was tuning the event as Humility level, and tbh, most of the tuning they did was to make it harder. So, if Blizz ever planned to nerf this event, it would have been at that point. Just accept if you need to use a “questionable” tactic to defeat a boss, then Blizz knows that its the way to do it.
The part I hate most about this is that although the Transmogs are Accountwide, the Achievements themselves are not. If this were a character/class game, I would understand. However, this is a vehicle event, that I would never want to do again. I would like to buy the purple mogs on my other classes aswell.
I will say though. It is nice to have a Transmog which very few other players have, due to the difficulty of the event. When you see another player wearing it, you recognise that that player has been through some stuff.
If you want it, you will get it, it just takes work.
The worst thing about it that you need to gather stuff for it.
Is this still the case?
Stop caring about mounts mogs cheevos that you end up using for a week, is it really worth it
guides let you faceroll some of them, there’s no bugs or RNG in it
So you’re telling me there is no RNG in getting the easy patterns for the Lich boss with Kleia and otherwise dying because you can’t get to the safe space in time or losing too much time with your dmg buff running around and therefore running out of time? And that’s just one example.
I will say, I can think of only 1 fight where RNG is even a factor, everything else is scripted to the point, where luck doesn’t come into it, it’s simply down at making sure you get all the hits in the right place.
Guides were extremely useless, there was a guy on Youtube who explained every fight extremely well.
And “Bugs”… well, yes, this is questionable. But as I say, at the time I completed it Blizzard were regularly updating and fixing bugs in this events. If they didn’t want you to use these “tactics” they would have fixed them at the time.
Personally, I found most fights were tuned around Kleia and Mikanikos was doable on all fights simply because it was near impossible to die as him (but I do remember 1 fight taking over 30 mins). Pelagos, was as useful as he ever way in game. I wonder if they buffed him now that he’s the Arbiter.
I haven’t taken that mog off since I got it over a year ago. Very proud of that one, because of the work put into it. And it stands out because so few have it.
Pelagos is easy: skip all mechanics with his invulnerable buff and nuke the bosses.
Kleia dies after getting one hit from the bosses and only starts to deal dmg for a short window once her engery bar is full - and no, you can’t fill the bar anymore before starting the challenges.
Yes, but once she does start doing damage, the damage really comes in, and she’s extremely manoeuvrable. The idea is that you don’t get hit.
