Use LFG, find rares, takes 5 minutes.
Else, fly around, find rares, takes 15 minutes.
World boss is 20%.

It takes me forever - I generally prefer to play only at the weekend, meaning I end up having to chase rares / treasures around the map rather than do daily quests. I also find it dreadfully boring which doesn’t help!
I wish we could “bank” world quests & have them respawn quickly if we haven’t done any for a few days.

yeah i feel it does take too long. its so boring as well. im always desperate to complete it within a day because i really dont want to dedicate serveral days to that crap.

Sometimes i would like to have a camera recorder to watch the ppl sayin this kind of thing. I did it in 1 hour and is good. But just 5 mins is ridiculous (even with LFG).
It depends on how you go about doing it, really. If you kill the world boss, do all six quests and kill at least 10 rares and collect some treasures, it takes around thirty minutes with LFG and around an hour without LFG.
That’s likely an exaggeration, because it’s impossible to do it in five minutes.

It is pretty slow, but then, I much rather have it work like this than how it worked at launch (bi-weekly) because this means I have an entire week to do it.
If I want to dedicate more time for it I go on rare hunts and open chests. If I do not want to rush it I just do the 6 available quests per day.
Since I do not need cyphers anymore I went extra lazy, and only do it with WB+dailies on my mage.
With my monk I often dedicate about an hour to fly around ZM and try to get essentias. That is usually 20+ chests, which translated to 20%+ percentage, not counting the percentage from dailies.
Yes… me myself use hyperbole IRL but i go mad every time in game i see that kind of assumption. Im getting old my dear Tauren friend.

It’s called a “weekly” quest for a reason.
Only needs to be done once a week and should take some time.
If you do the world boss and the world quests each day you are done in plenty of time to spare before the reset.

Haven’t tried it with flying yet to see. I’m stuck on a quest and can’t get flying so I’ve basically given up on Zereth Mortis.
It’s easy if you have flying unlocked.
Not even doing it anymore. The reward is not worth my time.
