You should be able to pause your subscription, or it should do it automatically. I recruited a friend (at 12 months now, got the transmog, yay!), but all the free months I’ve had to claim and currently I don’t get time to play for irl reasons. On top of the free months, I pay for 6 months at a time.
I feel like if you don’t log in for a month, that month should roll over, until you actually log in.
