Payment question.. can i pay for NA by UK credit card?

not sure how it works. I plan to switch to NA for grobbulus rp for playablity

I am leaving eu for NA but not sure how thats gonna work?

You will be able to pay for gametime or a subscription on a NA licence with a EU credit card, but you will NOT be able to pay for services or tokens with said same card.

For services, the currency the credit card uses, must match the currency of the licence you are playing on.

but is it same price as standard EU uk pounds price in terms of conversion?

No, because currency conversion rates change minute to minute. It will entirely depend on the currency conversion rate used by your credit card, at the time of purchase. Blizzard have no control over that (nor should they, as they are not a bank).

I’l do this on wednesday. I( have very low income and I plan to make most of it. I really wantedt o leave eu and I knew what its like now.

I hate to say this, but if your income is that low, perhaps a game should not be your priority?

£80 a week I have learning disability which renders me from employment in my country. I should have explained a bit more on my reasoning for switching to grob NA classic is because of EU community. if this game is not region locked… if a blue post can shed some light on if any more ways…

This game’s not region locked and you can have a new license as Trovlak says but, you have to pay seperately for your own NA license and NA gametime + almost nothing will come with you and there’s no interaction between the regions.

Lets not also forget that some credit cards charge an additional fee, for foreign currency transactions, over and above the exchange rate. For example, my credit card charges a fee of 3% of the transaction value + £1.65…

Whilst this is a negligible amount usually, for someone on a low income, it needs to be checked and considered.
