Pcgamer review on the current wow!

Seems like SL, is really bad for those that praised SL initial launch. Now, they regret to even mention it.

Well what can you expect when 2million players says what they want, but developers gives completely different product with crippled systems, and the systems uncrippling is presented as a “content patch”

People want ice cream, blizzard gives them rotten eggs

some folk like things, some folk dont.
dont take someone elses opinion on something, make your own.
personally, i quite like sl and really liked bfa but thats an uncommon opinion.

I actually agree with some of that, especially Blizzard not listening to players and when they do it’s more than a year after the complaints started.

My interest in Retail went from about 8-8.5 to 2 this first year, basically I only go into it to do seasonal bosses now, I haven’t even been to the latest added zone, I’m not even a raid logger.

I remember the hype about Covenants and how you could choose whichever one you want and your playing would not be affected, I even think I commented that it wouldn’t be that way and you would choose one based on the things you got, like aldor and scryer is in TBC before SL actually came out

Usually, ppl who say that, have no time to spend on forums or read others ppl view points, because they are busy playing the game.
So, why are you here then. If you love it so much?!?

I feel exactly like this. It was friggin’ brilliant for the first 3 months.

I believed that as well, felt like the biggest clown trusting Ion on that one and choosing venthyr as warlock…It only took what, 5 months for the FIRST tuning? And it still sucked after that.
Never had much faith anymore in Blizzard since WoD but this was absolutely the last straw.

CN is better than Highmaul
SoD is better than BRF

Outside of raids at least there are things to do a be it bad things and in my view the dungeons are better.

Only thing WoD could win on is PVP and PVP gearing but like i said my subjective view and both are rubbish.

You can’t expect every player to like every expansion, but to be fair WOD was good:

  1. PVPers can only do PVP and get ilvl/gold/cosmetics through it.
No one forces PvE players to do PVP
  2. Original zones, no rehashing, tons of novel music
  3. Huge game world with new zones in development
  4. Treasure chests have treasure
  5. Player housing with customization options
  6. No need to grind raw materials or gold, hire minions to do it
  7. Strategy gameplay, but instead of 3 resources like you had in War3, dozens of resources to manage, especially if you have already built trade station
Due to reception of WOD, all of this was scrapped in favor of current game model, where we just grind currencies via killing mobs. Hurray?

Was not player housing at all and was rubbish.

How would you make it better?

Pick any zone like we were meant to have done.
Pick any building type like was in alpha
Had more dailies tied to it.
Could go on and on but it is not the thread to discuss it and i would rather you take your aggersive you know better tone out of here

You used the word rubbish, just maybe you are projecting a little bit.

I agree, that the garrison could be better, i just don’t understand, why you say it’s not player housing

theyre only giving negative review because of the scanalds plaguing activision…its good clickbait. theese ‘‘game journos’’ have no interest in truthful reviews. only clicks matter
