[PCU] Draenei RP - Order of Oronaar 😇

Can a group of Draenei not even wander home through the land without running into some orcs causing trouble these days…

After an urgent summons to the Vindicaar last night, the Order is currently busy in Stormwind to get ready for their next mission: tonight we will set sail for Pandaria, to retrieve some invaluable artifacts scattered across the southern hemisphere of this planet!

With LF Draenei Warlocks. You could try to summon… Ahem, I mean… Beam… yes. Other races up to your fancy spaceship!
Might open the door for lot’s of awesome potential RP.

Much love to everyone in this guild who has hooves. Hope you have a great day. <3

The Oronaari have successfully completed their mission on Pandaria. However, there is no such thing as rest for an engaged order, and thus, the draenei find themselves on the Dragon Isles to tie up loose ends and perhaps create somenew ones in exchange…

Oronaari

What I nice name.

With the news of Draenei getting Eredar customization with patch 10.1.7 (why?), I would simply like to say we will NOT be accepting anyone who uses those customization into the guild. (hair colors I dont mind)

Thank you for your time.

Hey, why is this? Genuinely curious given the stance in the original thread saying this:

I’m not the biggest Draenei lore expert but is there no exception in any circumstances?

as the old goat once said

Death knights at least have it going for them that they didn’t actively choose to be murdered and raised as enslaved undead killing machines.

This pretty much.

The guild has gone through some changes since the original post was created and is far less tolerant of certain things. Thus the leadership of the guild, views the crimes of the Eredar as unforgivable.

Death knight’s are an exception and are still treated as dispensable tools, that are expected to give their lives in service to the Light.

Aaaah, I tried to contact you like 2 months ago but it looked like the guild is dead so I joined The Sha’ur here instead, I’m looking forward to see you in the world or even join on some other character!

Hey you! Oh that’s actually quite surprising - we are quite alive and have a solid number of people RPing most nights (our RP hours are every night from 8pm, except usually Friday’s and Saturdays).
Glad you found a place for your character regardless! And likewise, always welcome to RP with us on any character

I do have one question here. I saw the wowhead posts about those customisations and they do not have green fire and there will apparently be “repentance” questline, which would imply they are cleansed. I am interested in RPing a cleansed Eredar, who was forced into demonhood against their will but in time coped with it but didn’t had any grudge against Draenei. However since Legion was defeated the character would feel empty and get cleansed (some mutations can remain). Or something like that, like not a complete jerk of a character. I personally am for forgivness after genuine penance. But what are your views on that? Here in Sha’ur we have one cleansed one but the leaders know her personally for some time and find her trustworthy, this would be uknown character. And yes, Sha’ur is more tolerant, but in reasonable manners. (No warlocks, no man’ari or spriests, rest like rogues or DKs depends on character.)

yet

We should keep in mind that this content is not yet finished nor do we know how much the questline will actually explain because, quite frankly, the recent warlock questline has given little cause to believe we’ll even get a real explanation of any substance.

I agree, I’m still quite upset about the LFD lock, it’s a walking contradiction and proof Blizzard doesn’t care anymore and is turning the game into some nonsensical sandbox. However, we don’t need to shill for everything they do, nor accept it.

Well… As Hartuum already stated, at this point it’s a no for membership for Eredars and warlocks of any form.

How things will be like moving forward is not 100% as the questlines and lore are not fully known yet, so obviously it’s just a guessing game at this point. Chances are that we’ll check (and if needed adjust) our stance depending on the circumstances. It is however quite certain that - while we look forward to interesting RP interactions out in the world - would generally not welcome man’ari into the guild, redeemed or not. Redemption is good and well with DKs or some fool who fell into the Twilight Cults teachings, but it’s a bit harder to justify when it comes to millenia-long demonic affliction and wiping out whole planets.

It’s not really about “tolerance”, we had and have a fair share of non-conformist exceptional characters ( DKs, Broken Draenei, saboteurs, shadow priests), and a wide bandwidth of how the individual Order members view & accept them, but as it had been said before, man’ari are a whole different ballgame and wouldn’t mesh with our guilds concept.

We are going to get sooooo much flack for letting them in XD

Reunification will happen.Just think of them as Draenei who got sunburnt…VERRRRRRY badly probably not the best comparison…

Salvation through reclamation.

Was a lot of great lore and chat about this in the Draenei Discord…great resource and lots of banter

I really hope they will be cleansed, the fact they don’t have the greenfire on them gives me the hope. Also warlock class trainer in Exodar is Broken, making the warlockism mostly a Broken thing like shamanism I guess. Also acceptance of demons would break RP in general I think, talking about Illidari and warlocks, why be now outcasts? Why I don’t expect some strong writing and it is clearly a reaction on demand for this, these facts makes me hope Blizzard haven’t fully lost their mind. Being them cleansed of Fel would be a perfect compromise to appease those who want it, without destroying Draenei. And yes, Fel corruption makes you mutate which can stay even when you lose Fel corruption - look at orcs, and those just drank a suspiciously glowing Mountain Dew. These were literall demons for millenia. But well, now just we have to wait for the questline.

Hope springs eternal
