The following are the musings of one Rangari Scout

The Loyalists fell upon us right outside Strahnbrad. The Order and our allies were quick to fight back, though their cavalry tore into our lines, effectively splitting our forces within the first moments of the battle. It was only by the grace of the Light that we managed to hold for as long as we did.

During the battle, it became apparent that some of these Loyalists were using the Void to empower themselves and their attacks. The Order can not, will not allow such heretical magics to be used. I intend to speak with the Crystalbearer, we can’t stand by whilst such madness continues to happen here.

I also feel it might be a strong move to employ our own Felcrushers and Elekk cavalry to counter the Loyalists horses of such… brittle bone.

This evening, the Order tended to both the injured and the defences at Dandred’s Fold amongst their allies in the Concordat. However, late in the evening, the foul forces of undeath - the Rotgarde and Grim Gest - assaulted the Concordat’s position whilst still weak. Fierce fighting ensued by the water’s edge as the Order fought valiantly against the loyalists, although a retreat was ultimately sounded as they proved too strong for the Concordat… this time. Retreating to Greenwarden’s Grove through a conjured portal, the Order assisted in mending the wounded upon their return, saving the life of a Gnome who nearly fell to the Void.

This evening the Order, upon word from Exarch Menelaous, travelled to Azuremyst Isle with haste. The Furbolg had been attacked by a strange force, and so the Order travelled to Stillpine Hold. Upon their arrival they witnessed many horrors as strange void like tendrils dragged Furbolg corpses away into hold’s depths; dotted with effigies of Satyr origin, they knew of the enemy they were to face. The Order gave chase to their leader, a powerful Void-addled Satyr named Xifak the Void-Infused who channelled four portals connected to the Void, consuming the souls of the fallen Furbolg. The Order swiftly dispatched both her and her minions, closing the portals in the process, but in her death throes she insisted that they would meet once again in Bloodmyst “where the shadows lay”.
