Scarlet Crusade is that group of guilty pleasure villains that I’m always kind of happy to see make a return, small or large.
An epic guild from the PCU giving me that red-clad bunch I love to hate? Sweet.

Chronicle of the Sword
Detailed in accordance to truth and the laws of the Light.
Written Galford Darrowmere, Paladin of the Scarlet Crusade.
The scripture lay inscribed with several symbols, signs and sigils; be that of the Scarlet Flame, to the Twin Eagles of Lordaeron, amongst many of the marks, a singular sword shrouded in heavenly clouds. Scholars and scryers could deduce such to being the sword described in Sir Mordecai Renns’ vision, which occurred approximately in the years 627 K.C.
The account then reads:
A crown, what use would men have of an object so impure and tainted by greed. These men were not the dwarves, they did not shelter in the dark for the storm to pass, they instead rode with grace and purity, it was not the laws of melted ore that bound them to that desecrated land, it was the laws of divinity incarnate, the Holy Light. A crown inspires only power and greed, the Light inspires life, it is what our brethren have been faced with each passing day, their minds plagued between the spiritual and the material, sins have been stoned and the Light has granted our glorious Crusade a second chance. To note, it was not only the Light’s mercy that saw passage to Sir Mordecai’s reawakening, it was the Light’s justice that carved the quest for this holy sword. In congregational services, it has been stated that Mordecai’s vision will bring peace to our lorn kingdoms, for the sword can restore life as easily as it can take it. A crimson monk was reported to claim that he had seen the miracles of the sword occur first hand, that it transformed the dead soil into a thriving crop, the legitimacy of such claims is still under question.
To summarise in detail of the events that took place within this blessed night would fill an entire book, thus the account has been shortened. It was as nightfall ripped away what sunlight still lingered in our holy pastures that Sir Mordecai called for the riders to assemble, and so they gathered. These were no mere paupers nor savages, instead thy were devout men and women blessed by their very nations soil, whom had vowed to restore life to the heartland of Lordaeron. And so Sir Mordecai spoke to his brethren eye to eye, not even a teardrop of doubt blemished their faith, for they were pure and the impure still lingered. It was stated that the task at hand would not be one completed with ease, for the Crusades dwindled numbers could be outmatched by the rising tide of dead which grew like saplings from the ground.
And the clamour of hooves sounded, and the Crusaders hearts pounded for they made their descent onto the Forsaken camp, mounted against death itself they rode.
Despite the runts of the Banshee Queen holding superior numbers bolstered by their dark dreaded magics, it was faith in its purest vision that tore through the battlefield. The shadow was no match for the Light, as Sir Mordecai secured victory for the Crusade. The aftermath was not a bloodbath as many apostates of the southron culture may claim, it was one of respect, to see death put to rest with holy fire. Though the exact location and time to which this victory took place now varies in different accounts, Galford Darrowmere deducted that the victory was due east of scarred plain of the invasion.

Year 630 K.C, 29th day of the 4th month Written by Galford Darrowmere, Paladin of the Scarlet Crusade.
Spring is upon us, a time which life is renewed, restored and revitalised, I could not help but hear passing crimson pilgrims discuss that this was a sign sent from the Light, to us, its most humbled servants. It is to be noted that the plague is still as vicious and volatile as ever; a houndsmaster that goes by the name of -…- Gebler had to put down a hound of several years after it contracted such from making contact with a tainted knight of death. Crusaders should note that Isilliens scriptures were not false, and when one has been tainted, purification is the only resort to ensure the protection of others, may our comrades lost souls rest in eternal peace with the Light. Upon the eighth bell toll as nightfall began to spread, Sir Mordecai called yet another summoning, many still recovered within the clutches of the Monastery from the battle that took place the night before, whether their absence was noted, seemed to not hinder Sir Mordecai’s judgements, for he has been blessed with the vision that’ll see us to salvation.(modifié)The quest called these good men and women whom came from many different walks of life, yet all of which had united under the singular secular belief of the Light and the Crusade. It was spoken that the Forsaken’s movements had been sparse throughout the region, they held diminishing control of the scarred land, and had been transporting …—-…—- in armed escorts. Once again the hand of justice struck toward the Crusade to act, and so it answered with blood and faith. The exact details of this ambush are scarce for the Light of our forefathers shone so bright onto friend and foe that only the heathens were blinded, despite being vastly outnumbered, the Crusade saw victory leaving their mark in eastern fringes of the Western Plaguelands. Morale remains high within the company, and Light guide us. Scribbles and blotches of ink seemingly scatter the account, whether such has been done on purpose is unknown. Love this guild, I recommend if you’re looking for some cool scarlet roleplay
Can’t wait for more old fashioned Rotgarde VS. Scarlet fights!
Awesome to see. Will one of your wacky zealous adventures be off to see if you can reclaim the Ashbringer? Or make your own Light-fueled weapon of purging like they tried to with Light’s Wrath?
Who knew the legendary blade was hidden in classic all along?

Surely my eyes are not playing me for a fool
not one, not two, nay but three quality scarlet guilds, what a time to be alive
surely this means a slow but steadily reawaking of roleplay in the north with diverse groups to encounter at random.
rangers, reclaimers, heretics, undead champions, mayhaps a rare crusader, forsaken and the odd stray elf.
It looks to me as if life is coming back to the land of the dead.
I can say that it does feel very much alive, we’ve had plenty of random encounters so far with random individuals of the north be they ebons, forsaken, and Alliance.
Best time to get involved in any of the ecosystems available if you ask me.
quarantine making evryone crazy
Now I am kicking myself for transferring all my former human characters to Horde.
