Can it be removed? It really doesn’t serve a purpose other than be an annoyance. When your team is obviously losing you should just be able to leave and queue for the next one instead of having to waste precious minutes sitting around doing nothing tilted.

Oh no, keep the penalty please. It’s the only pillar keeping blitz being “balanced” and not a cry baby center for rage quiters. Commit to it.
Make it a stacking account-wide debuff that resets weekly.
Account wide derserter would be ideal.
