With RDF sweatlords will still gather the best party then they will sign up as 5 and you’re still will be ignored. As I said, minor problem, minxmaxers gonna minmax.
Noone is asking to group with sweatlords, People minmaxing already play with each other and do group with each other since day 1.
That’s why I laugh at argument of “people will invite only meta” - there will be such people, but majority won’t care who they invite to dungeon run. In fact, this is so silly - waiting for perfect super quick team for dungeon will result in finishing dungeon later than someone who invited first 4 players matching needed roles.
So, that argument is no argument at all.

So much this! And in my - admittedly limited and old experience - I had way more fun with these random groups, exactly because they were not meta, sweatlords or min-maxers. They could take a wipe in good grace and carry on.

The social aspects happen when:
A) Social players press enter and type in chat.
B) Friends play together and chat/talk using Discord etc.
I want to play the game, collect badges get upgrades and make some gold.
Not chit chat about how your dog is doing in slave pens heroic skip run

No longer possible to boost your newly returned friend in a dungeon.
Will not be possible to use RDF 1-70.
All this is to make leveling boring and to increase the buy character boost sales.
I promise you that more shop services will come half way through the expansion.
It’s the last Classic and Blizzard wants to milk it.

I dont even care much about rdf tool for wotlk, i have 280 flying, can do it. As far as I want it in game, i honestly think it shouldnt be implemented in phase 1.
But. For **** sake, let us use this toll for lvling. finally we can Play tank/healer sucesfully from level 1, cause we have alternative way of level.
The current dungeon leveling is not viable at all, cause You spend more time running to dungeon and back than doing it. Sick!
1-70 rdf tool, yes please. 70-80 during p1 - rathet not. 70-80 during other phases - yes, so people can catch up asap and join raiding

Before I say anything, I am NOT against RDF and feel it has to be in the game for a Classic experience, good or bad, it has to be there.
I do personally enjoy advertising in the LFG channel, and to be honest I don’t think many people use a macro although they do exist (damn you to those spamming 4 times in a row!).
To be fair, I don’t think someone saying that it’s anti-social is correct, feels more like someone who wants things put together quickly and easily with no effort. Putting together a group, whether you wipe or struggle, and making your way to the end feels rewarding. I hate those players who decide because of one wipe to just leave, my feeling is why join the group at all and I usually whisper them that, and block the player. Similar to those who just want to aoe everything down, which sucks for many melee classes - I’ve seen players leave because it’s a warrior tank and not a Paladin for ezmode meta gameplay.
Despite any potential issues RDF would pose now; from the times waiting for one dps and wondering who the hell has just joined, to someone leaving the dungeon for whatever minor reason because they just get teleported to where they were with deserter to just quest again, is all part of WOTLK and it had to be there for a Classic experience. It’s WOTLK Classic, not WOTLK Reforged or 2.0.

Since we can no longer boost friends through dungeons, I think 10-70 should have RDF.
