Outleveling zones to fast doesn’t come down to RDF at all. Even without RDF, or dungeons, you’d outlevel the zones way to fast.
That is the reason Blizzard implemented zones scaling in Legion, for the first time, as a test to see how it would work out and how it would be recieved.
So again, RDF is not the cause of that.
Prepare for a suprise then. It has always happened and it always will. Becasue path of least resistense.
Couple that with being left out for loot reasons and you’ll have a nightmare to get into groups. Just as bad as many has been through now in tbcc.
That’s were you’re just wrong. For dungeons it did actually help.
LMAO are you crying that some pixels will be lost? Guess what, your pixels will be gone too, the day classic and/or wow dies.
And trust me, some day it will. classic sooner then later I’m betting.
This is one of those times your brain is tricking you. You don’t like RDF so you find ways to blame RDF for all kinds of things you don’t like.
The thing is, the older wow got the bigger the world got, and so all the players got more scattered out over a larger world.
Which is why there would seem like less people out and about.
And just imagine, two people having different experiences. No way that could happen, right?
I have no hope in either direction. I do believe that classic will stop after wotlk though. Maybe with some wotlk classic era realm, if you’re lucky.
Same here. The only way RDF changed the game for me is that it made it so much more fun to queue up for a dungeon or two occasionally while questing on, out in the world.
The 3 people waiting for summons by the 2 actually running to the dungeon is more likely to tab out to do other stuff for those 10 mins.
Assuming that 2 people actually does travel there. I’ve had occations there I was really far away, but the group still disbanded because even those rather close to the entrance couldn’t be bothered to go there and summon the rest.
Thank you! Couldn’t agree more.
So Blizzard wins again. Buying that boost is exactly what they want you to do.
Or just quit and leave that toxic system behind.
Hence why fomo classes/specs will always exist and get picked over any other.
Bad system.
They should be removed. Meaning more people out in the world. “Socializing”.
Let me highlight the important word for you. More likely doesn’t mean every time. Point still stands. With the instant teleport there is zero chance for it because the group is formed and you’re already in the dungeon.
Dungeons are still braindead easy (except for ICC 5 mans). It is possible to complete them with basically anything. Wiping can still happen due to mistakes and accidental pulls. It’s not the same thing as being unable to finish without certain comps.
Aren’t you guys tired of trying to put this argument as something that happens all the time? It’s not M+ so people won’t abuse meta this much. It’s really really minor problem, if problem at all. #MakeYourOwnGroup
Grow up already.
I didn’t get carried. I just showed up to 10 man runs when they had a spare slot and actually made sure i knew the mechanics before hand. Banishing the right mob on a pack, creating a soul-well before each boss, adding soulstone to the right person. Really simple stuff that the majority of average guilds will be happy with.
Don’t make excuses because you’re anti-social or lazy.
I don’t get you. I leveled in TBC 3 chars: war prot, ele sham, druid resto. People wanted prot palas, mages, locks, rsham, they reserved items, they expected geared chards - still I managed to gear all three of them without bigger problems (shaman was gearing on dead realm). From my PoV - you’re just crying because you WANT easier and quicker way to achieve your goals but you don’t want to sound like spoiled kid so you’re desperately looking for any possible slightest silly argument.
Did you level all characters fair and square? No boosting.
Did you - without a guild focusing on giving you gear - get geared fair and square?
How much game time do you have on each character?
Why should you start with lots of gold in a new exansion ? Maybe…because it’s easier and quicker way to achieve your goals ? I think everyone should start fresh - no gold and no profession materials. Atleast the gold should be reseted on each server. Blizzard should have done that for each expansion.
I’m well aware how easy they are, yes. I’m not arguing they are hard.
All I’m saying is, because of “path of least resistance”, people will still be looking for the fomo class/specc any chance they get. As soon as word is out what is considered the best ones, it’s inevitable.
Lol a minor problem? It might be slightly less of a problem compared to tbcc, but a minor problem? Not really…
Wake up already.
lets say some ppl are going to look for fomo class/specc for the group they are making that is theyre choice to make. but what stops the not fomo class/specc creating theyre own groups. this is really not a hard thing to do as long as you are not a lazy person.
Blizzard doesn’t care about the social aspects of the game, They’re just saving as much as possible on development time and server costs.
No cross realm RDF/LFD is proof.
Beeing cool, because beeing cool boomer is not adding RDF :)))) (a little joke about age of ppl playing WoW and WoW classic in particular xD…so dont flag trolls).
I think they are no different than current WoW devs, that we seen in the past about standing firm on their decision and retracting from them at the end of expac, when ppl asked them to change it in Alpha / Beta. Most recent is obviously entire “pull the ripcord” topic in regards to covenants and borrowed powers. After X expacs they finally remove it xD.
So I still urge ppl to submit bug on PTR / Beta tha RDF is not in and be active on forums, but the chance for Blizz to change their mind in timely manner is close to 0…but not 0 :). There is tiny winy hope, but I think we will end up with poopy version of WOTLK and we cant do anything about it. Since for me its the only way of playing WOTLK in a legit way I will still play, but for sure my enjoyment of the game will be a lot smaller. But WOTLK is the last thing for me, after ICC is finished I will finally let WoW go and maybe drop MMOs completly, its a big time sinker sadly and I am not getting younger
