No, I just simplified it.
That’s fair
If you see only race and sex that is a YOU problem. Don’t try to put things in my mouth which I never said. You found problematic one thing but didn’t say anything when I called the troll alien. I don’t like to sugar coat things.
Just watched the trailer and compared to previous expansion trailers it was nothing to write home about.
It’s not attention grabbing like WotLK or WoD. It’s just bland.
It’s a trailer that people will forget it even existed.
No you did not. You didn’t even understand how huge it was to see that portal open up, because it’s there in vanilla, but it is closed.
Next time, try atleast.
Huh? I literally mentioned the troll “Alien”… it was the first sentence I said actually.
Beast like troll-elf woman (Are Night elves not descendants of Trolls? She looks like she could be in between that phase, very Warcrafty to me)
And you literally said
It doesn’t feel as WoW at all. 1st we see an allien trying to be troll. Then a black woman with armour copy pasted from D4
So, what words am I putting into your mouth? The ones you already spat out? Pls stop with this trolling, your main argument was race and aliens.
Yes! I did simplify it! I do understand how huge it was for the people at that time. I mean hell, they had 3 games and Vanilla WoW to build up on it. I don’t really get what you’re trying to say. “Next time try”… yeah alright.
So you understand why people were hyped about, but why should people be hyped now?
A diversity quota looking mean into a camera, pulling onto her leather straps with one hand (what’s even the purpose of that)
A lesser interesting variant if a Troll dancing around.
A lesser interesting variant of a Dwarf smashing a huge anvil.
Then we have Xal’atath staring into a camera for the 8th billion time and we have a nerubian staring at us after Blizzard added a arachnophobia version to WoW, which is ironic.
Tell me why I should be hyped?
I found the Troll-Elf interesting, the roots she’s controlling very interesting. Almost like everyones got different interests. I’m quite hyped to see what Xalatath has planned, what she’s doing with Iridikron, why the nerubians were her pick and more but I won’t say any spoilers just incase ppl haven’t played the beta.
Idk man, all I know is 99% of the ppl complaining and saying they aren’t hyped, probably arleady preordered the Epic edition lmao
You clearly didn’t understand my point. Diablo 4 has no place in WoW. The black woman from the trailer is like Reverend mother prava’s model https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Reverend_Mother_Prava
The armour is a copy pasted version of the Cathedral of Light knights
I have no idea what is Avatar’s NAVI doing in WoW but that isn’t a troll.
The only thing I liked was the dwarf and the Nerubians.
So yea. I hate the trailer. MoP was taking last place untill now. This one took its spot.
They’re more Diablo/SWTOR than WoW.
Defending Blizzard is a hobby too, for some people.
Okay? Unsure what relationship this has with the topic.
Just about the same as your post, none
0 substance other than devaluing others opinion by default because we both know, you’ll never agree with them anyways, so might as well call it all hating; its easier than discussing down in the trenches
Eh, it’s just a trailer, and it looks pretty no doubt, the sound effects are great too. But the substance is lacking, the characters are not very interesting in what they are doing since they just repeat the same thing they did in other trailers, there’s hardly any storytelling, it feels more like a concept trailer than a fully fleshed out one.
I don’t think that the people who just love to hate anything blizz does now days actually play or follow the lore or even WoW in general .
I bet they forgot we had thrall and anduin cinematic before and this one is just a tease at the races/factions in play (Atleast for the start) .
I think those people forgot that Classic wow had cinematic of races also with Nelfs/Taurens/Dwarfs/Undeads simply walking or doing some small action or ability i also think people forgot that in TBC we had Belf and Dreanai race cinematic with them also simply Syphoning a wyrm and a Dreanai hitting an enemy with a hammer and that’s it , ofc besides that we also had another trailer just like we had with Thrall and anduin now.
Those people usually speak about “WoW not having lore anymore” but don’t even know that blizz released short stories or ever followed the main story quest during DF , they forgot or forcefully Skip on
- DF Alexstrasza vs Raszageth Cinematic
- Fury incarnates Cinematic
- Opening the way Cinematic
- Secrets of the Reach Cinematic
They simply choose 1 Cinematic to hate on just like most of Asmon community like ducks and forget 90% of the others to make their “Point go through” or simply talk smack because there is a woman who is missing an arm and try to spin it on some “Force Social minority points” … Imao its cool and creative i don’t remember any character like that in video games not even speaking about WoW in general.
Oh yeah why?
Why what? There are two claims in the quote. Be more specific.
The cinematic for TBC, as well as the one for Vanilla with the various races, did not just show them do one thing. They were action-packed, they were fighting what looked like a faction against faction battle. And the ending of TBC’s cinematic has one of the most memorable lines in the entire genre!
Ikr? There is so much hatred, racism and pure vile being spewed out everywhere.
I’m fairly sure the cinematic is Thrall and Anduin talking (which received it’s own hatred and misandry). I loved seeing the earthern animated and I’m really looking forward to learning about the Paladin and the trolls.
Doesn’t really matter does it. They may aswell have had a sleeping player slumped over a keyboard with a half eaten pizza and empty coke tin and the words you have been disconnected across the monitor … Just as long as they let you know there was an expansion and launch date. Really its all you need to know. Who cares?
