I have seen increasing numbers of Irani people on the server. And guess what they are all doing… Mining. For days at a time. This one guy i spoke with has been in hinterlands for the past 4 days mining mithril, and almost all the time he speaks of how expensive it is in Iran, and that playtime cost 1/3 of your monthly pay.
Are Irani people the new Venezuelans from OSRS?

Yes, gehennas is full of iranis as well. They are mostly known for scamming GDKPs and botting/farming gold. A friend once joined a sunwell mage farm group ran by one, and once he received his cut he got banned for RMT a couple days later lmao
I talked with a dude from iran and he said its typical they farm strat for gold to sell for real money.
Most russians are same.
They all use VPNs to get around the ban.

My friend ran into one whilst mining, the Irani called him a “bishooor” for taking a mining node that the Irani wanted.
Pretty sure I ran into a few of them back on Noggenfogger too. They sort-of behave like bots, but respond like people with a very limitted grasp of the English language.
